After the party Orlock went looking for Kane

Kane was standing near the exit, as the door was open and the last of the guests walking out Kane took one last look of the people he was used to live with as they left.

"Kane, let's get your place here sorted out" Orlock called to the young vampire

Kane looked at Orlock when he heard him saying his name, he nodded and approached Orlock. He was ready to listen to orders and of course instructions.

"Alright kid what are you good at?" The lord asked the young vampire

Kane started to explain. "I am good with a sword, been trained for many years now. I am also capable of running a forge, I used to be a blacksmith student but I finished my training on my own... That is about it." Kane said honestly, unsure if this was enough.

Orlock thought about this for a moment "Well I can't put you in charge of any armies then, you'll have to be my assistant, and bodyguard, until you pick up some leadership skills"

Kane nodded, though the thought of him leading something if he even learns leadership felt weird. "Understood, I will guard you with my life and do your bidding. That is why I am here..." Kane said to Orlock and gave him a slight bow, he was raised to serve after all.

"Excellent, now i need you to find my court wizard, and tell him I need a dozen of his people ready to ship out by tomorrow" Orlock said to Kane

When they had left the party Wolnir said nothing to his master, she was smarter than he was, and she made the call so he would just go with it and keep doing what she told him.

Kane spoke. "Understood, I will do so." He then went to look for this court wizard, an order was an order so he had nothing against it.

Said court wizard was in the tower on the castle,  he was preparing potions, which both wizards, and sorcerers could do though sorcerers were typicall more capable with potions.

Kane went around the place, at the same time he was getting acquainted where everything was until he stumbled to said tower. The door was slightly open so Kane moved it more and knocked on the doorway so the wizard would notice his presence.

The old wizard, an ancient looking man with white hair and a beard looked up at Kane.

The bodyguard relaxed as they vacated the party, he felt intimidated being surrounded by people  far smarter than him, Nenet was smarter than him too, but he had known her since she was a wee lass, and he trusted her, what she told him to do the big oaf did without question. The demon knight did not bother asking about  her plan, because it was her plan, and it wan't his place to question, all he asked with a hint of a joke to it was "Shall we be runnin away together ma'am?" while technically he was her father's servant, it was Nenet who had his loayalty

kane looked at the man and then spoke. "Sir Orlock told me to tell you that he needs a dozen of your people to ship out by tomorrow, that is all." He said and waited for an answer, since he probably would go report back to Orlock.

"Very well young one" The old wizard said to the vampire "Tell him it is being done'

The conversation she had with Orlock played over in her mind, as she decided on her best course of action. This would mean she would be able to get closer to the powerful vampire, uncover more of his secrets, his weaknesses, what makes him tick. But it can easily mean that he will be able to enjoy these advantages, and get closer to her, which of course she cannot let happen. "Yes," She responded thoughtfully to Wulnir. "It is time to gain a higher standing in this world, now the killing of humans will have a purpose." Of course, Orlock should be well aware of the fact that Nenet was incredibly ambitious, and the title of a Duchess will not suit her for long. No, she craves power, complete authority over all. And if that means stepping over an ally to gain her goal, then so be it.

Kane nodded, he then went off to find Orlock to give him his report. While going through the halls he was thinking what Orlock was expecting from him, like how should he act and do things.

Orlock had no intention of taking up any crowns at the end of this war, to him it was the rise of darkness that mattered most, he didn't want to be a king, he wanted  to bring  about a dark revolution... then let the others do what they wished while he  sank back into his studies of dark magic with  no more territory  than he needed to sustain himself, he'd become a recluse immersed in his work after having fulfilled his task, it sounded wonderful to Orlock honestly. Trying to rule vampires was the fastest way to one's grave. As such Orlock was reding in his study.


"Ma'am i may be overstepping my bounds here, but it's probably best we don't stab anyone in the back til after we've won the war" The oaf bodyguard merely used his common sense as he also knew Nenet's ambition sometimes obscured her good judgement

"Yes, yes," She waved a hand dismissively. "That all depends on whether they have outlived their uses." There's no point in keeping someone around who is about as beneficial as a bag of tits. But some people could be surprisingly useful, she had to admit, even when they seem to be utterly useless. Still, she was determined to gain a much higher standing now, no matter who she killed.

Kane soon came into the scene to tell Orlock what the wizard said. "Sir, he said that that it will be done. Nothing more." Kane told him and waiting for further instructions.

Pyotr sits sipping some spiced wine in the lounge, trying to figure out his next move in all this. Lana had given him some advice but was currently taste testing some vodkas so she wasn't available.
