Tara whistled innocently.

Justin facepalms and waits for hobbie to get leading them somewhere again.

"R-right uh.....well we can't go back to our place, there were news people they'll track us...right right right follow me!" He exclaimed and with that began to run off "It's my old neighborhood! The Burrow!...Believe me the cops never go there unless it's a drug bust."

"Sheesh, this wouldn't be a problem if you had not distracted me like thus... Superheroes, running away from the cops..." Gear retorted, but they were still new and when you are new you don't exactly let the police arrest you and question you on who you are... Not to mention if the government wants their scientists to dissect them afterwards.

"Superheroes do that all the time! It's like a sixth of all batman stories!" Goop retorted "Now try to keep positive okay? It's not like they're right on our tails or anything! They've gotta lock up the dudes who did the actual robbing right?" He pointed out with a smile as he leaped onto the next roof "And we've got the cover of night anyway!" He continued as he gestured to the bustling night life of the city surrounding them "How are they gonna find us anyway?" However just as he uttered those fate-tempting words a massive spotlight shown down on the group 'SCPD! Stand down or we will use force to bring you into custody!' A voice from an airhorn barked out as a helicopter began to coast down towards them.

"You were saying...?" Gear says as he stares at the helicopter, he is not gonna get caught today so he runs off and jumps off the building into a narrow dirty street. He briefly considers abandoning the other 3 but... That isn't very heroic is it?

Tara froze. She didn't turn to face the helicopter, but her brow furrowed. "Want me to get rid of it?" She asked, almost gingerly.

"No don't fire on the police!" Justin exclaimed horrified by the idea "Look we didn't do anything all that wrong I'm sure we can just talk to them like rational people..." he tried to explain

"They won't listen, we have to act now. We should just run," Tara replied.

"Guys we have been running around using super powers without masks... they will find us, but we haven't done anything wrong so... shouldn't we like... not run?" Justin asked

"Don't be thick, Justin. They'll lock us up!" She replied. "I'll carry you if I have to.'

"Get down here! The helicopter doesn't fit in narrow streets!" Gear shouted from below, it was time to hide.

Goop didn't waste time trying to convince his friends to follow, he'd ducked the cops before. With a leap he crashed down into the alley below and began to run.

With a sigh Justin made the floating bubble around Tara and himself and flew with it down into the alley after them, before letting the bubble dissipate and running after the others. This was actually going better than he had expected at least.

Tara can after him. "Isn't this thrilling!" She cried with a grin

Gear followed Goop, hopefully the guy knew what he was doing and that they were heading towards a hiding place. He certainly had questions, they obviously did too.

"Not the word I'd use!" Justin exclaimed as he flew closely behind the others since he
had swiftly remembered he was a scrawny nerd who never went to the gym and running was hard.

"We don't have to run much longer, just need to get there and weight till the heat is off." Goop explained as he hopped the fence of a crappy apartment complex, moving as if this was all memory. Ducking the cops would've been easier back when he was a regular human "Hey Robo-Man, can you turn that mode off? It'll be easier to hide that way." He requested casually a he stole some clothes off someone's line and quickly put them on "Don't worry about it I know the landlord."

Gear followed Goop still, they were all in this together after all. "Sigh, I guess I don't have much of a choice, but what about your friends? Can they blend in?" Gear questioned as skin and clothes appeared on him and he looked like a normal human being, at the same time though he pretty much revealed his real identity to them. Guess he had to trust his new pals...

"Well we didn't have time to really make costumes and Justin refuses to ever wear one so, yeah we should be fine. Just have to keep moving" He explained as he dashed and hopped over the fence "Now c'mon, they'll be sending beat cops on foot soon!"

"Just great, why did you come so unprepared and have someone who refuses to wear one on your team?" Gear questions, they certainly were no professionals, well, he isn't either really and only tries to act professional. Still, it was kinda exciting to have like minded people along this journey.

"We've just started, can't expect us to be perfect already mate!" Tara replied, cheeks warm from the excursion and a bright smile on her face.

Justin following behind them asks "Are you guys sure we can't talk to the cops about this... I mean I at least haven't broken any laws and it won't be that hard for them to find out where we live."

"Speak for yourself, they are looking for a copper colored robot not a hardworking young man like myself! I can't let the cops arrest me, find out what I am, find out where I live, possibly tell my ma and da, possibly smashed into scrap metal!" Gear said, saying what possibly could happen. "You can stay behind if you want, but don't mention a thing to the cops about what I look like in my human disguise... I don't need them breathing on my back." Gear told him, he was serious about this.

Goop nodded "Unlike you unlucky bastards, I can shapeshift ...have't gotten the hang of it but, i'm pretty sure no cop could ever catch me!" He declared, suddenly a burst of light flashed through the alley as a squad of cops blocked off the exit "Oh really? You four are under arrest, stop before you endanger anyone else!"
