Justin put up his hands "Officers I think this is all a misunderstanding... I think the main points can be summed up by my friends are idiots..."

Gear panics a bit on the inside as the cops seem to have caught up with them, now they know what he looks like! This is the end! His secret is out to the public, they will tell his ma and da that their son is a robot! Or assume that he has been replaced by a robot... Either way it doesn't matter! He will be put into pieces, his systems shut down, his conscious erased... All is lost! Gear falls down on to his knees and hands in despair, he was scared. "...This is all your fault..." He whispers to the others.

Tara skidded to a halt behind them, almost running into Goop. "Oh hey," She said, flashing a smile in their direction. "Yeah see, I know this looks bad but we actually stopped the criminals. We just ran because we didn't think you'd believe us."

The officer raised a brow at this , a small smile on his face " ....Oh , it's another code Krypton boys....buncha kids trying to be superheroes." The cop sighed exasperated as he began to walk over to put the cuffs on Tara "Look you'll be in and out of the precinct in a few hours, ton of kids and geeks have tried this crap, you won't be in serious trouble." He began as the other cops followed up with cuffs .

Gear slowly stood up from the ground, probably easier for them to put the handcuffs on him... He was still quite nervous about the whole thing, hopefully his disguise holds up until they get out.

Tara took several steps backward. "I'd rather not, thank you," She said.

Justin offered his hand without a fight "Thank you officer, sorry we took up your time. They... mean well..." He looked at tara basically pleading she just go quietly.

"Justin what are you doing!" She cried, grabbing his arm to pull him back.

"Tara it's fine, it's the cops" Justin pointed out

"What if they experiment on us and put adamantium in our bones. Come oooon."

"Dear that's from a comic book" Justin sighed and face palmed, this was the most embarrassing day

"I was using it as an example you tit"

"Hey stop!" One of them yelled and rushed through the group , pushing the other two away to reach something behind them.

Gear turned to look where the officer was going, who was he talking to?

Justin swiftly turned to see what it was as well

As did Tara.

Hobey was halfway up a brick wall in the dead end of the alley, clearly haivng no intention of being taken in as he scaled the surface with his sticky hands.

Gear looked slightly surprised. "Well this can't end well... Should we... Do something...?" He asks the other two.

"Damnit man..." Justin sighed and repeated his apology o the officers before shouting "Hobbie get down from there!"

"Dude shut up we aren't going with the cops!" She cried.

Goop meanwhile wasn't bothering to think about anything , he was working off pure instinct at this point, the cops were there, they had handcuffs, it was time to run.

Gear was not going to move, the police would find them again even if they did run away, since they know what they look like in public. Though he can't help but be a little worried for Goop, his escape is not a good look after all. "There is literally no point in running away now..." Gear says neutrally.

"Oh my god; my friends are idiots" Justin said and buried his face in his hands in exasperation

"I can't believe I'm stuck with the two most incompetent superheros," Tara said, voice filled with bitterness.

"Can you please shut up? We are not superheroes... Just regular kids with dreams too high..." Gear said, hopefully Tara gets the hint and actually shuts up.
