"Okay good, I was starting to get worried. You know, you are pretty okay people... Maybe we could hang out?" Gear offered, these people were superheroes like him, they were cool and perhaps having partners would be fun?

Justin put a bubble around her and flew after the others "We're not becoming a discount super team..." He said trying to put his foot down knowing what hobbie was thinking as he followed his powers as unsubtle as ever.

Hobie's instinct was to protest, to point backwards to the good work they'd just done. However as he opened his mouth to speak he felt the words stop in his throat, what was he doing? Dragging his friends along into this? A sobering feeling of guilt landed on his shoulders , tempering the high that had come from saving the day. For a while he was silent and simply kept running. Focusing on getting them out of sight and to safety, yet eventually, without breaking pace he began to speak "I-I'm sorry..for dragging you into this."

"Look, we can discuss this later, now we need to find a place with some peace and quiet." Gear tells them, run first and then talk right? He himself wanted to be a superhero at least, put these abilities into good use.

Hobie didn't respond, he simply kept running, green gello like body glimmering in the moonlight that filled the alleyway. Their path led up to an old decripit looking street, crowned by a rotting old townhouse.
