Phillipe stands alone in the council hall , it is a magnificent domed structure of marble , and gold , one of the greatest and longest standing architectural feats of the south . The main council hall is large as well by human standards , 100 meters wide 150 meters long . The main table is of a glossy mahogany ,embossed with gold and shines brighter than the jewelry of most ladies . However in here there will be held bitter arguments , bloody feuds, assassinations, double-crosses and many other sinister acts. One of the many ironies of life no? Phillipe ponders all this as he waits for the people he invited to arrive.

Ysabel arrived on time, as per usual. She didn't bother with any fancy carriages or anything like that, she just made her way there as inconspicuously as possible due to the threat of assassins still lurking about. "I hope this meeting will not last too long, brother," She said by way of greeting.

"That's your Highness to you" He states with a joking smile as he turns to meet her "Well met sister , you are on time as always"he states nodding sharply "However on the matter of the length of the meeting , it depends "

"Oh, I see," She replied. "And the topic of the meeting? I don't recall you disclosing it."

"I in fact did , we will be speaking on our plan against the elves advancement into the south eastern gulf " He explains sharply .

"Of course," She replied with a nod. "When will the rest of your guests arrive?"

"Now" He replies succinctly as the others stream in ,it's a panopaly of ministers,dignitaries , and petty princes. All most likely representatives of far greater powers. After a short an eloquent greeting Phillips takes his seat and gestures for Ysabel to do the same.

Ysabel took her seat once Philipe did, and watched as an excitable young lord may have well have just skipped in to the hall. He was known by everyone here, and despite his often hyper activities, he was thoughtful and intelligent. Some dignitary, on the other hand, made his way in soon after. He was a lesser noble, who only climbed his way up the ranks due to his family, connections and wealth, as he wasn't the sharpest pencil in the box.

Though he had a calm exterior on the inside ysabel's guard Kolvoilk was was terrified being surrounded by important humans "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" He screamed in his head while maintainting an exterior quiet

As everyone gets to their seats Phillipe clears his throat sharply, essentially telling everyone to shut up and listen " Now the 12th Southern Kingdoms council may begin " He states calmly "Before we get to any of the important bits , does anyone have any questions?" He asks, though his words are plain the charisma his voice carries holds the council in his sway and Ys can see it .

The room was silent. Apparently no one could think of any. A shame, really.

Phillipe nods , onto business then "I'm not one for formalities , so let's skip to the point of this meeting" He states bluntly "The elves advance into the south is ever quickening , and soon they'll have control of the entire south eastern gulf , allowing them to easily launch naval attacks on the eastern ports , if we let them secure that south eastern gulf long enough for their reinforcements from the far east to arrive it'll be the death of the Southern kingdoms , I suggest an offensive"

Soren and Lamb limp to the top of a low rise overlooking he city, both of the two men showing their travels badly. Lamb with a bloodstained bandage around one leg, both of them splattered with mud, grime and long dried blood. Lamb grins widely at the sight of the city and starts his way towards it, Soren following after a moment

"Bloody hell do you have impeccable timing?"Arden said as he trudged up the hill behind them with his much stealthier wife "Looks like ya'll ran into trouble on the road" Neither Arden nor Ves were bloody, seems the trip went pretty well for them for once.

Vesryn's eyes slid along the two men when they came into view, and left Arden with the niceties; that wasn't her strong suit. She couldn't help but wonder what trouble they had gotten themselves into, as they had certainly had a more entertaining trip than her and Arden.
