Rise of humanity: The Saga Of Steel

Post by The Lord Regent on Fri Jul 22, 2016 4:41 pm

Arden frowned as he saw likely an entire wolf pack be brought into the cave, and needed to step out for a bit for obvious reasons.

Shadow chuckled standing back up after the hug "Good to see you too" he said to epona and headed for the dragon to check on her "I'm coming" he called to her

Emron wasn't sure what wolf would taste like but guess he would try it.

Javek walked closer to inspect the prey the elves had brought, he takes his dagger and is ready to cut some of the meat for it but he needed some one to cook it for them all.

Parath is obviously huffing with exhaustion because of trying to avoid crashing but it didn't work. Her right wing had an obvious gash in it and blood was starting to dry around it.

Epona's eyes widened slight as she spotted Parath's injury. "Oh no." she said before snow blew in her face and she tried ducking to avoid the cold air, but it didn't work. Her teeth started chattering intensely.

Veronica chuckled upon seeing the wolves and the elves.

Vesryn watched Arden step outside, and, after a moment's hesitation, followed him. She was wary to exit as he hadn't returned with a cloak and wasn't too keen on watching her fingers fall off. She understood how he felt; it wasn't easy watching your kind die, even if he was only part wolf. She hesitated once the other elf spoke up, remaining silent and waiting for Arden to speak.

Emron sits by the fire to look at the cooking process.

Javek nods to the elves a she continued cutting the meat and hands it to the elves to cook. "Remember to give everyone a fair share of that, I'm sure everyone is hungry." Javek said as he continued his task.

Veronica wasn't interested in any of the meat. She was a vampire but she did admit the smell of it was nice to her nostrils.

"crap!" shadow said to the dragon "Ok so good news and bad news"

Arden didn't reply at first but glared at the elf commander with eyes that the man could swear weren't yellow earlier. Arden knew it was all helpful, and he shouldn't be angry, but it was his instincts and not his conscious mind tat made his blood feel like it would soon boil with rage "Nothing, I need some fresh air" arden said to the elf comander

Parath snorted and winced in pain. "Let me guess, the good news is we're all alive, and the bad news is I got an bad injury, right?" she asked him sassily.

Epona walked over to the dragon's side, perhaps to try and get out of the cold.

Veronica looked suspiciously towards Arden and wondered if something was off about him before turning back towards Emron.

Emron was just warming by the fire as he watched the meat to cook, this was going to help the people get enough energy to move out of here when they had to.

Javek was doing teamwork with the elves.

"A fair share eh? " he asks as the Outriders get to the skinning of the wolves blood "Make no mistake everyone will eat ,but since my boys did the lion share of the work i expect you wont mind them getting larger portions " He replies with a smirk pale blue eyes studying over the priest.

Within a few minutes of precise pragmatic cutting they have skinned all the wolves and the largest of the outriders ,a skinny dangerous looking half elf called Azkar begins assembling a spit to roast the meat over.

Veronica could smell the blood and her vampire instincts were threatening to kick in. "I have to go outside." she muttered before she exited the cave, not caring if Arden sees her there or not.

Vesryn followed him outside, the storm hitting her like a slap in the face as soon as she stepped out of the protective cave. "I'm sorry," She replied, having to almost shout to be heard over the raging blizzard. She wasn't exactly sure what she could say, other than that she understood. She understood his pain and anger. This whole situation was entirely new to her, which was apparent in her body language that screamed awkwardness. The cold made her shiver, her clothes and hair whipping around her in the strong wind.

Emron yawns as he was still a little tired after waking up, but he notices Veronica going outside and he decided to follow her. Once there he spoke to her, sounding a bit worried. "Veronica you okay? I don't know what is Arden's problem but maybe you can share me yours...?" Emron asked her plainly.

Javek looks at the elf as he spoke and he looked at him. "Well, I am sure there will be a lot of leftovers after this... I see no harm in it, your help keeping everyone fed is appreciated." Javek said with a smile to him.

Parath growled savagely and closed her eyes. "My wing better not be broken, Shadow!" she shouted at him.

Epona gasped and backed away from Parath.

Veronica looked towards Emron and sighed deeply. "I can't be around blood without wanting to drink off something, back off before I accidentally go in for the kill." she told him, her voice had turned cold as ice.

Piri nods "Its no problem really ,we normally do badass stuff like this all the time , adding sharing to the list isn't much of a problem " He jokes as they begin to tie one of the deer carcasses to the spit.

Emron backed away from Veronica as she didn't seem okay, he didn't know how she felt right now. Well it was a  vampire thing anyway so perhaps he will never understand, there wasn't anything he could do so it was best that he left. "Well, okay... I'll be back in the cave, come back when you feel better or get over it or something..." He said sounding a bit awkward as he did not know what words to use, he turned around and headed back towards the cave.

Javek nodded to Piri, he certainly appreciated their help.

"You should go inside it's cold out here, i'll be in in say, fifteen minutes, i'm going to get you something for warmth" arden said looking out at the morning sun

Shadow shook his head, "it's torn open"

Veronica sighed deeply and followed him inside, she'd just have to avoid her thirst.

Epona looked towards Shadow. "Is there any caves up ahead, we need cover or else we'll all freeze to death out here?" she asked him though chittering teeth.

Parath winced slightly in pain but was slightly glad her injury wasn't bleeding anymore, but was furious that she couldn't fly. "Where is it torn?" she asked him.

"I'm perfectly fine," She replied, though her chattering teeth defied her statement. "Besides, I have you for warmth." It was a lame attempt at humour, but it was all she had at the moment. She retreated back into the shelter of the cave regardless of what she said, though kept watching him outside. Her stomach growled softly, the sound drowned out by the raging wind, and she glanced briefly, longingly at the cooking meat.
