Shadow stood nearby

"Want me to go look after Ator while you eat?" Shadow asked

Emron gently made sure that Veronica is awake, it would probably to be best to return to the others for now. With all the things going on this it was a nice enough break... Emron would walk back to the others with Veronica by his side and holding hands.

Piri has vanished entirely.

The fact that Emron and the vampire returned holding hands did not escape Ysabel's notice. Her lips formed a thin line, but she made no comment about it. Instead, she strode over to him. "Emron, where have you been? You should stay here, where it is safer. There are many people out there who would not hesitate to have you killed."

Emron's light smile to Veronica vanished as his mother addressed him, Emron spoke. "Well, I was just having a breather... Besides, I am not that afraid of assassins when I have Veronica with me... Her abilities are more than enough to dispatch would be assassins." Emron said, he had trust in Veronica's vampiric abilities and he himself can wield a sword.

"Hm," She cast her gaze to Veronica incredulously. She highly doubted the woman would be able to save Emron from a crossbow bolt. "You can never be too save. From now on, stay within the manor walls."

Emron sighted and replied. "Fine mother, I will do so then..." He said to her, he would at least try to obey his mother's pleas.

Veronica glared slightly at the queen. "After all this time you still don't trust me?" she asked the queen, her voice brittle and cold.

Epona looked worried as she grunted as she felt more cramps.

Parath then grabbed Shadow by the shirt after she finished eating and flew him back to the shack.

"Good," She replied, satisfied. She didn't trust the vampire, but she seemed too emotionally unstable to successfully plot something against them, so for now she'd just have to keep her eye on the woman. Her eyes snapped towards her when she spoke, narrowing. "Do not speak to me in that manner. You have shown me little proof that you can be trusted. I will be taking no chances with the lives of my children." She looked the woman up and down. "I don't expect you to understand that."

Veronica lost her temper and went to punch the queen in the face for that last comment. "You have no fucking idea what I've gone through!" she shouted.

Emron was standing there eyes wide of shock at what Veronica just did, he did not know how to react.

Fortunately for everyone involved Cole was able to form a magic barrier between them which veronicas fist could meet instead of the queens face. 

Shadow chuckled at that

Ysabel didn't even flinch. She had faith in the guards. She just stared at Veronica with cold eyes. "You have lost your rights to see my son. Get out of my house. You will be lucky if I never see your face again."

Veronica's eyes widened at the queen's words. She glanced towards Emron before she teared up and ran away.

Shadow landed outside the shack and then slowly stepped in.

Ator was curled up asleep.

Emron was about to go after Veronica, he didn't want to part from her, not like this.

"Emron," Ysabel warned. "You are to stay, where it is safe. Do not go after that vampire."

Veronica kept running until she disappeared where he couldn't follow, she had disappeared from view. She eventually stopped and panted a little before sitting down and sobbing.

Emron stopped in his tracks as he heard his mother speak, he turned his head around to look at her but after that when he turned back to see where Veronica went he had no idea... Emron sighs but stays inside, Emron feels angry at this all so he goes to find an empty room to be in for now.

Shadow sat next to the little dragon

Cole finally let down the barrier, he was quite stunned by the events "That went south quickly" he observed when emron had left

Parath sat down a little.

Ator sniffled and opened his greenish eyes.

Epona looked at her borther, wondering what had just happened.

Veronica wouldn't return. If she saw one of the group she would run before they had the chance to spot her. Even thought she loved Emron she feared her mother's words.

Ysabel sighed deeply, finding a seat. She massaged her temples as a headache was beginning to form. "It always seems to."

"It almost feels like the dunes were a safer place to be... despite the giant Scorpions" Cole relaxed a bit, he was half joking, but taking care not to get too familiar.
