"Where are you going?" Ysabel asked Cole, pushing her way through the crowd. He was the one who warned of the dangers of straying too far from the group, yet here he was doing exactly that.

"I saw something on the roof, looked like it was following us..." Cole began right before the far stealthier Shadow, an actual assassin not just a ranger who went to a month and a half assassin seminar, leapt down from a nearby roof "I must be losing my touch" he chuckled as he landed next to them

(It was not a seminar you bastard!)

"Hm, so it seems," Ysabel said as Shadow jumped down beside them.

"Oh there's some amateur following you too, I didn't get a good look at him, but we need to go somewhere secure" Shadow said casually to the others

She nodded, swallowing any hint of panic that threatened to raise it's ugly head at the news. They wouldn't be idiotic enough to kill her in public. So she merely nodded and motioned for them to lead the way. They were more skilled in this area so she would let them lead her to safety.

Colle obviously had no idea what to do he had never dealt with assassins before, shadow on the other hand asked "Any powerful contacts or allies in the city?"

(Ah, yes, of course, I forgot he had eyes on the back of his head.)

"A few, yes," She said, with a slight frown. She hadn't been here in years, her memory was quite fuzzy. But she was confident that she would be able to find her way to her family home. "We should find the others." She said, lest the stalker find them first.

(your mistake XD, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist, to figure out what the girl carrying a bow is going to try and so with it when you're running away)
"There's Emron right there" Shadow said, now in the market he could see Emron bartering with a merchant"Get your as over here there's an assassin after your mother!" secrecy was an assassins weapon,time to take it away and see what this guy does.

Emron turned his head when Shadow came to him, according to him huis mother was in danger. "What!? Where!? Take me to her!" He ordered clearly concerned for his mothers safety.

(So then running away is just asking to be hit. Even if he were to run in a zigaz, a skilled archer may still be able to hit him.

Ysabel raised a brow at Shadow's thought process, but focused her attention back to Emron. "I am fine, Emron, no need to worry." She hoped the assassin would now flee since he has been discovered, and she would have time to gather a guard to protect her if he tries again.

Piri isn't fleeing, because that's pointless , it only gives his target more time gather resources and protection. He puts his bow back in it's sheath and slides down the tiles of the roof he's on. He knows where she'll go, because he was told where, now all he has to do is get there first ,and quietly. With a determined grimace he leaps onto the next rooftop and silently and quickly begins to make his way to his destination.

(I was hoping Ysabel would seek refuge at the palace of the king and queen after Piri foils her attempt at hiding in her family's home, then after Piri infiltrates the castle he comes across shadow)

Epona looked at Shadow with a worried expression as she caught up with her mother. "What about Parath? Will she be okay?" she asked him curiously.

"She's a dragon she can take care of herself" Shadow said confident she could do this

(Nuh uh Bell, Koy and Kilo are involved as well, now we're just waiting for them)

Seeing that both her two kids had caught up, Ysabel led the way towards her family home. It would take a good few minutes to reach, but she was confident that once they were there, they'd be safe. She made sure to take the crowded routes, and not short cuts that she used to to try and prevent the assassin from attacking.

Kolvoilk had cast an incantation to lead arrows aimed at her astray just in case, while shadow just kept his eyes open

Ysabel led them to her family home, casting an eye to the rooftops for the assassin occasionally. She couldn't help but wonder who had sent one; though with her out of the way, another could claim whatever claim she had on the land. Not that she had very much. It would have been wiser to target someone more powerful, but what can you do now.

Meanwhile In the frigid North Rowan Is on the top floor of the great tower, where his and Morina's large bedrooms are located. The floor is rather spacious, and entirely theirs. The floor contains the two bedrooms, a study, a potions lab, and a small dining room; All of which converge on a living room like space with the only fireplace in the tower, and a couch rowan had somehow managed to get up a mountain, and all the tower stairs himself. The morning was productive for rowan copying some of his spell books for use in the student library, but then a cold spell hit, and given they were already at the top of a snowy northern mountain both he and Mori ended up wrapped in blankets, and sipping hot cocoa by the alight fireplace "Why can't anyone build a giant tower in a sunny meadow?" Rowan pondered sipping some of the hot cocoa he had made them.
