"any other questions my lady?" Shadow asked Ysabelle cassually

"Yes any others ? I'd like to hurry this upmI have a boat to catch" Piri states calmly.

"I am afraid you are not going anywhere, Piri," Ysabel stated calmly. She could no longer trust him free.

"Well you see m'lady ,it's not your choice " He replies with a smile as the door behind them closes and about three assassins ,garbed in the same robes as Piri and probably of the same skill stand ready to fight.

From behind the assassin's were hit by a cloud of goblin magic which corroded their bodies like acid in mere seconds "Hey guys i heard a commotion... I assume those were the bad guys?" The half goblin asked as he entered looking around, and waving at the other half breed

(I'm not having Piri stay here, it's supposed to remain a mystery for a while)

(Why not have him disapear batman style while everyone else is watching the scene?)

Piri is gone as they turn around , the ropes that had been binding him sitting in his chair.

Ysabel turned to Piri, lips parted as if she were going to say something, but she froze. She took a measured step towards the chair, lips forming a thin line, a crease appearing between her brows. "Where did he go?" She demanded.

"Well he obviously slipped out of his ropes and either ran like hell or hid behind a bin" Shadow commented to ysabel "I believe him, in that he wasn't recruited in a plot to kill you til recently He seems like he went through a month and a half long assassin seminar."

"I see," Ysabel replied, narrowing her eyes. "Find him." It did not matter that he didn't used to want her dead, he does now and she could not let him free with the order to kill her.

"That sounds like a bad idea, he could be lying in wait for us to run off searching and leave you undefended Shadow pointed out

"Someone can stay behind," She pointed out. "It matters not, I just want him found and detained."

When she looks away from shadow he has vanished by the time she looks back

Oh, for god sake, people need to stop doing that. Ysabel folded her arms, and perched herself on the bed.

Meanwhile Piri is leaping across some rooftops a bit away, alright , that failed. There's no way he can get back in unnoticed now .

A storm had been steadily brewing as the foursome continued onward, until they were being battered by the surprisingly painful snowflakes. It grew so intense that all they'd be able to see is white and the threat of their being separated was very real. Vesryn trudged through the snow that had already reached half way up her calves, arm up to shield her face from the pelting flakes, but to little avail. It got into her boots, the moisture climbed up her legs and froze her toes. She shivered uncontrollably, as her limbs began to grow numb, and her pace slowed even more. She peered around at the limited sights, seeing nothing but bright, cold whiteness. She could no longer see her company. "Arden?" She said into the wind, a hint of worry in her tone.

Arden put a hand on veryn's should he was seemingly unbothered by the snow storm "Aye" he said his voice carrying over the wind, he was also able to walk pretty normally do to his size

Vesryn shuffled closer to him in order to try and absorb any heat he will emit, still shivering violently. "Where are the others?" She asked through chattering teeth.

"No idea, the snow is a bit too thick to see in" Arden admitted as he glanced about, he would be worried about his sister and their other companions, but a werebear, a werewolf, and a Northman are in a hell off a lot less danger than his wife Vesryn an elf who all seemed disturbingly ill suited for even a mild chill in the air. In semi harsh weather such as this he'd need to keep an eye on he which meant being sure to stay on the road, luckily arden could feel there was road beneath them instead of grass

Vesryn grabbed his hand in order to glean a bit more warmth into the icecubes on the end of her wrists. Bright crimson stood high on her cheeks, tipped her nose and ears. She couldn't help but dream about sitting in front of the fire, a bottle of something strong in her hand that will hopefully burn on its way down her throat. Or the strong sun of her homeland that will chase away all hints of a breeze. But instead she was in the middle of a goddamned storm.

"Don't worry we should make it to town by nightfall in a few hours" Arden assured Ves seeing how badly she was reacting to the cold, he meanwhile also felt that it was a bit chilly "This winter is a lot more mild than the last one, but thast could just be the western climate."

"That information doesn't help in the slightest," She replied, somewhat grumpily. She shuffled even closer to him in order to leach anymore body heat.

Epona acted a bit worried for some reason as she stuck to her mother's side. "Mom? Will it ever be peaceful for us ever again? Why is this world so dangerous for us to live in?" she asked, tearing up a little.

Veronica was no-where to be seen, by anyone. It would seem that the vampire had left for good, but she hadn't even left the caravan's current location.

Parath was still in the little shack keeping watch over her egg, which would hatch soon.

"We will defeat the elven threat, and things should go back to normal," She said, confidently. "The world is always dangerous for everyone, some threats are just easier to see than others."
