Arden calmly mixes a glass of water with something  from his pocket "I promise you... you havent." He said pressing a single barb slowly into his face which erupts with Indescribable, maximum pain.

Piri sighs "Any second now " he grunts as the wire is pressed into his face.

(SO does piri not feel pain now? because this stimulates maximun pain. Arden would be screaming at the top of his lungs)

(Oh no he's feeling it ,It's just in a couple of seconds his pain receptors will stop working , a fail safe used by the monks)

Arden smashes him across the eye with it seeing it will not work "Ves, i need you to make sure his pain receptors are working with your magic" He called to her, he had heard of this failsafe in captured elves before

Piri wonders why they didn't take of his robes by now , because a large amount of its layers are just like , leather armor and stuff. Also there are like tons of weapons in the thing , and Yes didn't even check him for more than like two seconds , this all seems very sloppy in Piri's opinion. Well at least they chained up his hands , at least there's that ....he feels like a dungeon would have been better for this , at least then he could suffer from the cold and stuff . Or he could get sick , but this is like some back alley surgeon place made out of wood , in other words an easy escape for anyone competent , and there's not even any security ! They just wheel barrowed him in , he wonders if the reason these two are together is because they're both idiots....yeah that makes sense.

Arden proceeded to blind his other eye by striking it with barbed wire as well, good luck escaping with that.

Vesryn returned after sorting out the fire.

Piri growls a bit at that , so he can't see now this is true xbut this isn't exactly a large building and memory always works , plus this'll heal by the next morning ,and by then he'll be gone. He's gotten more than a little tired of humoring these two , it seems the big one picked this location more out of a want to be secluded than anything else ,even though he could have carried out the same torture in a much more secure location ,which would have made this all a lot harder for Piri . Even without his sight this will be child's play as soon as they head out , like he's never had to escape a place blindfolded before .

"He has a fail safe to stop him feeling pain, we should kill him" Arden said bluntly "I can tell he's plotting escape, and by the time we find a wizard with enough skill to nullify that, it's not even worth the trouble, that or cut off all his arms and legs and burn the stumps so they won't heal"

"Okay. I'll let you do the honours," She said, as the dude had killed his buddies after all.

At that a familiar black smoke fills the room , once again burning at everyone's lungs "You know I really wanted to tell you guys , I hate my masters deeply for what they did to me , but you guys are really bad at this and I'd feel a bit pathetic if I told you everything without even being really tortured ,so if it's all the same to you ,I'm going"Piri says succinctly as he slices through his restraints with a hidden dagger ,and off memory alone makes a bee line for the door.

Upon seeing the smoke, Vesryn immediately held her breath. She then followed his footsteps and plunged a blade into his back.

Arden who was of course expecting an attackis clearly able to disarm the injured and blind elf before he is hit with a swipe his club and kick him back down before crushing his throat with the club

(Dude how did you think this was going to go arden isn't that dumb

(Piri didn't attack him at all)

(He did draw a knife though, and there was smoke it's close enough to an attack he's dead either way)

Later arden dumps him in a refuse pile in a nearby bog. Fuck that traitorous asshole . Still Arden found himself at a loss for what to do next

Vesryn just wrapped her arms around Arden in an attempt at being consoling, but that had never been her strong suit and so she wasn't entirely sure what to say.

As piri slowly sinks into the water , one hand somehow raising the middle finger even in death stays up .

Arden had genuinely know idea what he should do now since the reason they were here took an arrow in the eye

"I think we need a holiday," She suggested. "Lay low for a while, return when we are ready. Rowan will be fine looking after things."

"On one had I think so too, on the other, there's still that horde of elves coming to kill us all..." Arden contemplated all of it in his head, shit he hated how the approaching horde was ruining his time with his wife

"All very true and important," She nodded in agreement. "But a few days will not hurt. Besides, we haven't even had a honeymoon." A smile bloomed on her face. "What do you say?"

Arden nodded at this "Sounds like a good idea dear" He really needed a couple days off, as did she, this whole thing was stressful
