Mandrake was caught off-guard by that, but he only grunted at the punch. He pulled out one of his daggers and swiped towards Arden using it.

Arden took the dagger to the arm but his armor aught it in a way so it was deflected. he then caught and twisted the elves wrist.

Mandrake let out a screech of pain as the human had broken his wrist as he refused to let go of the dagger. After his wrist broke, he let go of it, making its blade fall to the ground.

Arden then headbutts him in the nose

Javek shrugged at that, he didn't mean to upset Odette nor did he know such trouble was going on. "I see... Sorry I didn't mean to bring up sad memories, if you want, we can pray for your family once the moon rises up." Javek offered to her as he stoked the fire with a stick.

Mandrake staggered back, but managed to keep hold of his longsword and free it from the lock. He felt his nose bleeding, the scarlet droplets falling to the ground, but he didn't care. He swiped towards Arden.

Odette shook her head sadly. "No, it's okay. But I was the only survivor of my family." she said, taking smaller bites of the bread.

Javek nodded in understanding, it isn't ever easy losing family and he knows. "I understand, I lost my family too... They were traveling merchants and one day they left and never came back, I heard that it was a bandit raid as the guards went to investigate. After that, well... I became a follower of Vamiun, he showed me the way when I was wrecked by sorrow." Javek told her, as he took out a water skin and offered to her in case she was thirsty.

arden caught the blade in his armored hand and knees the elf in the groin

(Poor Mandrake! O.O )

Mandrake coughed before dropping his longsword and crumpling to the ground, riding in pain.

Odette listened and shook her head as he offering the water skin to her. She was warmed by the fire and she smiled as she continued eating.

(Just realized arden has no way to take him prisoner... maybe the sound attracts the others)

Javek took a sip from the water skin and put it back to its place after that, Javek then stood up as he was ready to go to sleep. "Well if you need me you can find me from this small shelter I made, I will go to sleep now as tomorrow will be an early morning. If you want you can get some sleep here too, I will lie down the blanket I have here for you..." Javek placed a soft brown blanked on the shelters ground for Odette if she wanted to sleep there, despite it was a small shelter it still had space for 2 people at least. Javek then laid down on the right side of the shelter as he tried to sleep.

Odette followed him inside the shelter and laid down on the other side, she didn't need a blanket. But sadly, she still felt cold. Not long after laying down, she was shivering with the cold.

Javek noticed her shivering as she was basically making the entire shelter to shake its leaves, Javek stood up a bit and placed the blanket on top of her for warmth as he laid back down to sleep.

Arden kicks the elf in the head til he passes out

Odette looked towards Javek and smiled. "Thank you." she told him.

Mandrake was quick to pass out.

Javek didn't say anything to her as she thanked him, he did have a small smile but then he closed his eyes and started to drift to sleep.

Arden walked away from the unconscious elf

Odette smiled wider before she fell asleep as well.

Her midnight hair falls, perfectly straight, to her chest and her skin is very pale and unblemished, save for a scattering of scars.
Personality: Vesryn is very serious, perhaps too much so, and you will be lucky for her to even show half a smile. She is distant and cold, and will keep an almost permanent emotionless veil over her face.
Skills: Vesryn has some skill with most every type of weapon, though favours the more stealthy options, such as throwing knives and bows. She is able to create illusions, but this is very mentally demanding and requires all of her focus to be successful; although she hasn't yet honed this skill as much as she would like, she is still able to produce powerful illusions.
Background: Vesryn is descendant from a long line of wealthy aristocrats, but this particular family is much more dangerous than the average noble. Her father was a highly successful assassin, and Vesryn was trained by him since she was old enough to hold a blade; she replaced him as an assassin after he was injured on a job. Vesryn sought more action, however, and joined the army.
Equipment: She is almost always permanently donned in finely made light leather armour, that is gilded with silver embroidery in intricate patterns. All of her weapons are of equal high standard; she carries a bespoke bow carved from the strongest and most pliable of wood, with fine carvings of battles along its length. Throwing knives decorate her hips and two curved twin blades rest upon her spine, alongside her bow and quiver of twelve steel arrows.
