Treasure Hunt: Necklace that Kills

Nothing seemed to be a miss, Acheron approached the pedestal and grabbed the necklace on it. Now that they had it, it was time to leave. "Okay, nothing happened so far... Let's get put of here before anything shows up." Acheron said to Jinx and started walking back the path they came.

Jinx slowly turned around, his fur all fluffed up.

Acheron did not notice, he was busy getting out of here.

Jinx stopped, flicking an ear.

Acheron went onward, all the traps they had already disabled were in no condition to work as they left the ruins. Once outside Acheron looked at the necklace more closely, seemed like the real thing.

Jinx looked at the necklace.

Acheron put the necklace in his pocket and spoke. "Seems like the real thing, now I need to find someone who can destroy it. Also, thanks for the help Jinx, I really... Appreciated that." Acheron said to Jinx as he started walking back to the city.

Jinx walked with him. He nods and falls silent.

Acheron was glad that wasn't too bad, but he was sure other instances like this would come up and those might be even more dangerous than this. Well, it was time to return to the inn and start looking for more information on these trinkets.

Jinx would teleport him into the inn.

Acheron and the others in the inn were caught off guard by that, Acheron gave Jinx a mild glare. "Next time, tell me when you are going to do that. It gets very disorientating..." He told him but at least it saved some time.

Jinx shrugged. "Hey, I do this 24/7, they're used to me popping in here." he said.

Acheron spoke more as he started walking to his room. "Yes, perhaps but I am not used to popping from one place to another in an instant." Acheron told Jinx firmly.

Jinx frowned and teleported into Matthew's house.
