Treasure Hunt: Necklace that Kills

Jinx gasped as he saw the spike traps starting to fall. He quickly teleported Acheron out of the way before the spikes fell onto the narrow path in front of them.

Acheron stopped walking when the sudden shift happened, he wondered what that was all about. A sudden teleportation shouldn't be a thing here...

Jinx was suddenly at his side. "Are you that stupid to not look at the ceiling?! You were nearly crush by a spike!" he said, hissing.

Acheron hears Jinx's voice and he looks down at the cat. "Oh, its you... That was your doing? You actually saved me from getting skewered there, I appreciate it..." Acheron then goes into his shadow form to bypass the spikes and he waits for Jinx to follow.

Jinx follows after him. "Jesus Christ, you're lucky I followed you here." he said.

Acheron rolled his eyes but since Jinx had followed him they might as well work together on this. "Quit your jabbing for now, we need to deal with some more traps along the way so keep your eyes peeled." Acheron said and shot Jinx a smile as he went forward now.

Jinx looked around and listened out for anything. "You might have to duck ahead. Unless you want to teleport to avoid the fire." he said.

Acheron slurped into the ground in his shadow form, unsure what Jinx was talking about.

Jinx walked forward and fire blasted from the walls, but since they were so short now they could avoid it.

Acheron moved forward, if they can get to the end of the hallway they should be able to find the necklace. But of course, there is always a locked door of sorts.

Jinx gasped as a wall appeared between them right in front of his nose.

Acheron turned when he heard the sounds of something dropping down, he looked at the wall behind him and wondered if Jinx was alright. "Hey, can you hear me!?" Acheron asked, hopefully nothing bad happened.

Jinx suddenly appeared at his side. "I'm fine, t just missed me by my whisker though." he said, flicking his tail.

Acheron took a step back from the now closed doorway, he wondered if he could break it or something... Maybe even a release mechanism?

Jinx shot a fireball at the wall.

The all was made from stone, the fireball did nothing. Acheron went to his shadow form and his claws would slice it a bit, he had to keep scratching it until it would have a hole that Jinx could walk through.

Jinx sighed deeply. "You sure we can't just teleport through it?" he asked.

Acheron spoke with his deep demonic voice as he kept chipping away at the wall. "You sure you know how thick this is? So you don't accidentally teleport inside it? Or how does your teleportation work?" Acheron wondered since he only had so much information on the topic.

Jinx frowned. "I can teleport anywhere inside a mile radius but after teleporting 10 times per day I will pass out. I can teleport both of us, I've only teleported 4 times." he said.

Acheron returned to his normal form. "Really? then get to it Sir Kitty." Acheron said and waited for Jinx to work his magic.

Jinx blinked his eyes. "It's Jinx actually." he said before he teleported them both on the other side of the door.

Acheron looked around, he gave Jinx a nod and then they continued onward. They would reach wooden doors that opened easily, there was a large room with a pedestal at the back of it and on that pedestal the necklace.

Jinx readied himself for a fight, if there was going to be traps there was going to have a fight over the necklace, he had a hunch.

Acheron was on alert as well, he approached the pedestal slowly looking at all directions...

Jinx looked around as well.
