Uncharted Waters

Chris wkes up to the smell of fish and oil and salt , suddenly remembering where he is , he's on a boat in the middle of the Indian Ocean. In fact he's been on it for the past week , he's beginning to wonder why he proposed this to Leo in the first place ,however they're already out here so you know. With a grunt he hops off of his bed and leaves the cabin to find Leo.

Leo was an early riser, and so was now standing at the bow and staring out at the distant horizon. The sun whipped his hair around his face, and he breathed in the familiar smell of the ocean, and watched the glittering of the waves as they broke far below. He much preferred travelling on boats to any other mode of transport, all the rest were all too cramped and he needed a lot of leg room.

Chris sneak attack hugs him from behind "Morning Leo"

Leo made barely a physical reaction to this but his heart swelled as it often did when chris said his name, and a smile bloomed on his face. "I was starting to think I'd have to pour a bucket of salt water over you to wake you up."

"I would have punched you in your beautiful face"He replies honestly as he holds the tall werewolf close.

He chuckled. "Well you can't stay up until eleven when we arrive, it'll waste half the day."

"Alright alright fine , if you insist" Chris relies with a sigh.

He leaned back somewhat awkwardly to plant a kiss on his head. "I can't wait."

"I'm sure you can't hopefully this place is as cool as you imagined it" Chris replies with a slight blush.

"Me too," He replied with a contented sigh. "Be a bit pointless if it wasn't. But no matter we can always go somewhere else."

Chris nods silently "You think that treasure they were talking about is real?"

"It's not about the treasure," He replied, grinning. "It's about the adventure."

Chris punches him on the shoulder softly "Gawd you're such a cornball"

"Yep," He said proudly, hands on his hips whilst his hair blew around him.

Chris sighs "Granted you're an adorable cornball ,but still"

He grinned and wrapped his arms around Chris. "That's me."

Slowly the fog over the water clears and verdant jungle islands come in to view "Wow " Chris exclaims as the sun rises over the water.

Leo couldn't even find the words to express his amazement and awe at the beautiful scene.

Their boat flows through the waters past these little islands , until they are in the middle of a massive gorge , two great walls of red rock topped with verdant jungle on either side.

Leo just gazed up at each of the huge walls, feeling almost close enough to run his finger tips over its rough surface. The jungle seemed to pulse, alive, becoming him to explore the secrets it kept.

Chris seems equally azed , something about the way this feels , he feels this strange familiarity , as though his animal side has found a habitat it likes .

Leo wrapped one arm around his shoulders to appreciate the view better.

Chris leans a bit on his chest as the boat slowly drifts into a primitive abandoned dock "This is where you two get off , see you in three days" The captain says bluntly.

Leo shot the man an appreciative smile and thanked him, before he hopped off of the boat and onto the dock.

Chris quickly follows an eager grin on his face "You've got the map right babe?"
