Rise of humanity: The Saga Of Steel

Emron put his hands on Epona's shoulders after the hug and spoke. "Come on sister, you need to go sit at the campfire to warm up. Here, take this wolf pelt to warm yourself with too." Emron took his wolf pelt from his shoulders and put it on Epona as he helped her next to the campfire.

Epona kept crying but allowed him to lead her over to the campfire. She smiled and closed her eyes as he placed the wolf pelt on her. "Thanks Emron." she said softly. She then glanced towards her mother. "Am I still welcome in the royal family?" she asked him worriedly.

Veronica stood a little ways away from Emron and his sister. Her arms crossed with jealousy. She's mortal and I'm immortal, no wonder they're so close! she thought to herself.

Yurik had finished reinforcing Javek's dagger and looked around for him. "Oy! Dagger boy! I'm done reinforcing your dagger." he muttered, since he didn't know Javek by name just yet.

Shadow was soon back to leading parath to the others

Arden grinned back" and who's going to st on you making enemies with everyone you meet? '

"Easy parath it's just me" shadow said to her" you nearly took my arm off"

Shadow patted her on the snout" it's alright just be more mindful,  and hey if you do end up taking off a limb it's just the price of an awesome Dragon best friend" he said rather cheerfully

Piri looses a tooth from the sweetness .

"Today is the best day ever" Piri states as he grins hopping onto the dragon's this so cool! He's on a motherf$cking dragon!

"Move over" shadow chuckled getting somewhere he could use her horns to steer

Piri scoots a little to let Shadow on the dragon ,he is on a dragon ,with a ninja.no one is going to believe this when he goes home .

"I sure as hell m ,let's do this!" He cries pumping out a fist in excitement.

"Ready to go parath"  Shadow  confirmed

Parath nodded her head and flapped her wings before she lifted up in the air. She flew higher than the trees and waited for Shadow to steer her head in the right direction to go.

Shadow made her do a barrel roll as he steered her in the direction of the others

"Not everyone," Vesryn responded, amusement sparkling in her ice blue eyes. "I didn't make enemies with you."

"Not for lack of trying"  Arden chuckled,  it was indeed ironic that the person who had played right into the hands of a sneaky murder happy elven assassin, had ended up becoming close friends with said sneaky and murderous assassin

Veronica was a little away from Arden and Vesryn and became slightly jealous because they could be in love but her and Emron were a different story.

Parath flew in that direction.

Emron stayed with his sister for now, he tried his best to comfort her after all that has happened.

Javek heard the smith call for him, he stood up and went over to him to receive his dagger. "Thank you kindly, my travels will be much easier thanks to you." Javek said to the smith with a smile.

"Of course you are," Ysabel replied to her daughter. That's if they still have a Kingdom by the end of this... she thought with no small amount of worry.

"But it worked out for the best," Vesryn said. Now she has a total of one friend! That number never really seems to increase.

Epona hugged her brother, wanting to be comforted again. "I thought I'd never see you again." she said sadly.

Yurik smiled a bit at him. "The name's Yurik." he told him.

"Okay let's practice this whole landing thing..." shadow said as they neared the camp

"It really did, and all because i'm so gullible"  Arden said as he put his arm around her with a rather bright smile
