"What brings you here?" Rook asked, not bothering with pleasantries he spoke coldly.

He receives a painless karate chop to the head from Franky "Let me do the talking mon cher"

Quickly Bart and a few other choice members of the crew make their way off the ship and stop about five feet in front of the gang , Bart grins and gives a little wave " Good morning , couldn't help but notice another Ergmirian ship this far out west "

Rin didn't intend to miss out on all the fun, so she went along after them despite not being formally invited. A part of her hoped that this would end up with another battle, despite being now short in numbers and those that have survived are much weaker. Regardless, she watched with a bright smile, one hand on her hip.

Rook grumbled at that and stepped back

Franky just mouths him a 'thank you' then turns back to the pirate "Have you and your crew been out here long?"

Bart just grins devilishly as he looks the Gallian over "About three months or so , so yeah that's rather long by my reckoning, it was three months right Jack?"

Rin ruffled Rook's hair from behind.

Rook jabbed her with his elbow to get her to cut it out

Jack nodded, also hopping off the ship. "Something like that"

Rin chuckled, and stood beside him so she was able to sling one arm around his shoulders.

Rook tried to ignore her and watch for the moment

Bart nods with a small chuckle "Good good , damn , was hoping you would shoot at us so we'd have an excuse to raze this place a bit , but this works too" He exclaims.

"Let me know if you'd like me to kill them all" Rook said to Franky, he did not like this braggadocios cunt one bit

Franky just nods back to him "Don't worry you'll be the first I tell" He replies flatly .

Bart's grin just grows "Oh good you actually have some balls , I mean you lot made it out here but still, regardless we've been raiding some cities belonging to the savages who claim to be your enemies , assuming your crew and these natives have allied , any idea where the next one is ?" He questions .

Rook thinks he should ask about the one guy from their crew

"Oh right , we spotted a member of our crew on your ship , Nevgeredi by the name of Nikolai...We'd like him back if he's willing " Franky explains .

Bart nods "Big Nik ? Bone white hair , aye you can have the big lug back ," He replies with a nod "Jack go fetch Nik for me"

Jack casually returned to the ship and said "Hey Nicky, they want you back" then joked "Lord knows why"

Nicky just grumbles as he downs more of his mead "I'm gonna finish my drink"

"He's gonna finish his mead!" Jack loudly called to the others

Bart turnd to the crew "Finishing his mead"

"Never would have guessed," Rin said, amused.

Rook crossed his arms and waited, radiating standoffish behavior in his manner as he did

About three minutes later Nik staggers down to the group , his clothes tattered, several scars upon his chest and face , and a bloodied bandage around his left eye.

"Who did that to you?" Rook asked his gaze turning to a glare at the pirates

Nik just sighs "Those barbarian cykas from before , they killed Griff"

Franky's eyes widen "What...no, why what happened?"

Nik turns to the gallian with a frown "They locked us in a gladiatorial pit with this one *points to Bart* and Jack and about two dozen others " He explains

"Oh no not!.... uh... that guy" Rook didn't remember who that was

Fracois just gives him a frown "One of the few competent seamen among our crew , the one I would have picked to be captain"
