Franky pulls out a telescope and looks over the approaching ship "Is that Nik?"

"Who?" Rook had spent most of his time bellow deck he barely even remembered franky's name

"Big Nevgeredi fellow , a bit too quiet for my liking, but courteous " Franky explains with a shake of his head.

"A hostage?" Rook asked

"I don't think so , he was nabbed up by those ..what did the call them? Ititlan yes that was it" He replies evenly.

"We should go see what they want then" Rook suggested

"I nominate Rook to speak," Rin said. "Maybe, if we're lucky, they'll eat him."

"Do you really want me working as our diplomat?" Rook asked with a smirk

"No!, no I'll do it it's fine "Franky says hurriedly .

"Need backup?" Rook asked

"Oui that would be nice, just...I'm sorry this Is going to sound very rude, try not to talk please" Franky replies as he begins making his way down from the ramparts , beckoning for Rook to follow.

"Now you sound like Rin" Rook chuckled and followed him

Franky frowns at that "Actually you can talk all you want " He replies jokingly.

"Hey," Rin butt in. "I think we need more Rins in the world."

"Well madame moiselle you have the ego the size of a mountain , so I'm not surprised "He quips .

"I wonder why," The elf said with amusement, looking up and down the human in front of her.

"I think one is more than enough" Rook replied

Franky quickly makes his way down and out to the harbor of the city to meet with the pirates, Xaba coming along to represent the natives.

Eventually their meeting party is fully assembled , and with a grim expression Franky leads the march to the docks of the city where a massive pirate ship is pulling in , even from the docks sounds of the crew yelling orders can be heard. Francois frowns, his normally chipper tone one of grim solemnity "There's a lot of them, that is...worrying to say the least"

Meanwhile Hamid is having his men move the cannons to a part of the ramparts which has a good angle on the ship , just in case.

Finally the massive black and red ship fully pulls in to the dock , sending a spray of sea water at the gang as it pulls in , Bartholomew grins eagerly "Hmmn , they brought a welcoming party , and there's some natives in it too! How very intriguing"
