Rin settled back in the seat, kicking up her feet on the seat in front. She'd go with the veterans for sure.

The veterans get their asses whooped , and the crowd erupts in a mass of cheers and boos.

Rin leaned forward, rather amused by this unexpected turn of events.

(i mean when people are fighting with blunt objects it's usually the people with the most muscle mass and physical superiority who win)

(They aren't fighting , they're doing an elaborate obstacle course)

(an obstacle course even more so)

After the first round the teams make their way back to the starting line and the course begins to !magically rearrange itself.

Rin propped her head up on her hands while she watched with curiosity.

The AME continues for the next half hour , and although it isn't a landslide victory , e younger guys are still the winners.

"Well this is no contest." Rook's voice came as he he sat beside her

"Clearly," She said, without turning to look at him.

Finally as the game comes to a close all the players drop to a knee as the course sinks into the ground of the pit .

Rook had a seat next to the elf; she was his body guard, but she seemed to be looking for a fight earlier so he had come in case she needed back up.

"Come to drag me away back to your incredibly dull company?" She asked.

"Nah I thought knowing you, you might be out picking fights and need a rescue" Rook retorted

"A rescue?" She said incredulously. "Please. These people couldn't fight their way out of an open door."

"If you say so" Rook said twirling his wand "I seem to recall you have a weakness against large peasant mobs" He cited a previous adventure that she would certainly be none to proud of

Rin turned her head to him very slowly, before raising her arm to point at the exit.

Rook actually grinned at that and chuckled "Would a sparring match get you in a better mood?" He asked her

"I thought you no longer wished to spar with me," She replied, lowering her arm.

"well luck you, i found a spare belt in my bag" Rook joked

"Oh that's convenient," She replied, smirking.

"Isn't it?" Rookwood said recalling that last time he did not.

"Well we can hardly spar here, now can we?" She said, motioning to their surroundings.

"I suppose not, but i've heard of these things called legs,and supposedly you can use them to stand up." Rook paused making a face like he was describing a revolutionary and dangerous invention "And you  can go to places with them."
