Soren nods, "Your kings will like that, it will leave their flank well secured. But do they have the steel we need?"

"Depends on how much you need I suppose"  Arden said to him as they approached the castle

Phillips turns with a small smile "Not as strong as they'd want us to believe ,the elves that have been terrorizing the east ,they're only a warband , they're isolated in hostile territory with no sustainable food sources , no resupplies , and many many foreign diseases " He states calm!y.

(Oh god he is in for a terrible surprise)

(That's the tragic part)

Soren merely shrugs and keeps walking

He laced his fingers together, frowning while he pondered this. "I see. So they are merely a thorn in our side? We will get rid of them, no problem."

(Ysabel should know better)

(Well maybe she has become inexplicably mute for the past ten minutes)

Phillips tuts "However they are still a formidable opponent regardless, and we know for a fact they've begun building bases in the south ,not to mention their tech ology and magic , in short they are neither an insurmountable for or a mere hindrance ,they are an enemy ,and enemy the southern kingdoms must band together and push back before they consolidate their holdings"

He flayed his fingers against the table. "Well, we will gather resources, as many men as we can to defeat them."

"Don't underestimate the elves," Ysabel said, apparently finding her voice again. It's a miracle. "Even without supplies, they still will have many surprises left."

Phillipe nods "I know this sister ,your kingdom is an example of that ,but we cannot sit here on our hands as they gobble up more of our lands like gluttonous pigs"

She raised her hand in defence. "It was merely a warning, brother."

Lamb glances around himself and whistles softly, though it's interrupted by a wet cough, "This place is a lot bigger than back home"

From a nearby rooftop an arrow soars and strikes both lamb and the werebear in the skulls. Arden was quick to react ducking into a doorway for cover, well there goes his best friend and uh... the other guy; he forgot that guy's name name; regardless Arden he knew ves was probably already in cover and looking for the culprit. The knight saw someone in brown leather armor on the roof of a three story inn just passed some houses and businesses up the dirt road. "Ves this one's yours" He called to her as townsfolk yelped and took cover and the less than competent guard rushed to the scene wondering what happened as acrobatics, and roof jumping wasn't really his strong suit.

(Well damn )

(I'm not waiting for 2 or 3 years to continue this)

Ves was already on it, ducking out of the way when the twang of the bow string reached her ears, and let a throwing knife fly towards the assassin.  She wasn't worried about arden; he was a big boy, he could take care of himself. She scaled a little squat house like it were nothing and began her pursuits of the culprit, jumping across gaps and off ledges to reach them. She knew she had to catch him fast before she ran out of stamina, and so let loose another knife from her grasp towards him to try and quicken the process.

(Dude , I just got an idea , remember when we said it'd be cool if Piri got captured by Arden and Ves? Well you never gave this archer an identity )

(sure, he was on a mission to disrupt a potential alliance between the kingdoms and barbarians then. you take it from here lulu)

(Yay!)

Piri quickly spins ,grabbing the dagger in the air ,and turns back to running.

Terrific, she thought dryly. Time for another tactic. Vesryn hopped onto a series of buildings running parallel to this one, and continued running across from the murderer, before diving to tackle the culprit, consequently making them both tumble off the roof.

Piri growls ,angling their trajectory so that Veseryn will take the brunt of the fall impact.
