Rise of humanity: The Saga Of Steel

"I suggest we lay low," She said, cheerfully, as she slowly led Arden away from the bog.

"I saw an inn outside  of town" Arden suggested "We could go there, and get some rest"

"Perfect," She replied, before leading him away and making their way towards said inn. She asked Arden to haggle for the price, as she'd most likely just end up insulting them and then they'd get a rubbish price. Whilst he did that, she perched herself on a nearby table. And then when Arden would turn back around when he finished with the inn keeper, he would find her in the midst of a brawl with some ridiculously angry commoner.

Arden had indeed haggled for a good but fair price on a room with one fairly large bed, he could have gotten it lower but he didn't want to rip the man off. Arden did  indeed turn around after a couple  minutes, having ordered a pint of mead for himself and ves as he had heard this area had the best mead.

Vesryn was busy disarming some dude by grabbing his wrist and slamming her elbow into the back of his elbow. She then forced her foot into the back of his knee to off-balance him, grabbed an empty clay mug and broke it over his head. She then glanced to Arden sheepishly.

Arden offered her a mug and chuckled "What the hell happened?"

"I heard him mention he enjoys objectifying women," She said simply, glancing to his friend who looked too afraid to help his downed mate. "So I objectified him."

"Sounds like he deserved it" Arden said offering her a mug of mead, of course if he had met him two or three years ago, she'd have probably chopper off his nuts or something. Either way if there was anything he had learned it's always best to agree with ves on this stuff.

"Of course," She nodded, positive he had indeed deserved it.

Meanwhile

As Piri more or less accomplished his mission ,while not compromising his masters , he is deemed an overall success and his body is eetrieved to be revived in the Pit.

Arden chugs his mead

(Hope you didn't strain yourself.)

"Did you get us a nice room?" She asked, sipping on her own beverage.

(I did a little)

"I did," Arden said adding with a smile "I hope you don't mind sharing a bed."

She cast him a smirk, before leaning over towards him. "Only as long as you don't try anything funny," She whispered, a wicked glint in her eyes.

"I wouldn't call it funny" Arden grinned putting an arm around her

"That right?" She asked, grinning.

"Well assuming we don't go too heavy on the mead" Arden joked

She smirked, and leaned back in her chair once again. She then raised her mug to her lips and downed the mead in one gulp. With a flash of a grin, she called over a barmaid to fill it up.

Arden smirked as well "Going to be like that is it?" He asked calling for more mead as well

"Should you expect any different?" She asked, once again downing the next round.

Arden downed his faster giving a competitive smirk

She offered a light-hearted glare, before calling over another round. When this arrived, she made sure to down hers quicker than Arden could.
