Moving Day

"Yeah, sure. And if that thing just wants to be left alone...then go to the other bedroom but...uh...might have a hole in one of the walls..." Sky would say.

"So what you're saying is that everything is going to be fine so long as you quit dicking with it?" Torin asked, he was eager to study the thing it sounded fascinating and still possibly dangerous. However that did not detract from the necromancer's annoyance that one of the members of his covenant was playing the victim because something said it would hurt him if he tried to kill it a third time. "Quit antagonizing it, and I'll have a look at what it is."

Orion sighs and adjusts his glasses. "I am going to stay away from it, for my own safety. But I do not feel comfortable going back to my room as long as it is in there, but all my belongings are there so I hope this can be resolved soon. The last thing we need is for it to possess someone and start murdering the rest, I do not trust it, whether we leave it alone or not, none of us know what it is and what it might be thinking." Orion says, he doesn't understand why Torin trusts an unknown entity's words just like that. Wasn't safety his forte?

"I said I'd have a look at it." Torin simply repeated, and sighed "I don't trust it either, and I'll probably relocate it, but quit playing the victim. It sounds like it's just defending itself and doesn't want to die. Or else it'd have killed you by now. Now what does everyone want for breakfast?"

Orion decides to not say anything else about it, but hopefully Torin will be careful. "I suggest waffles." He simply says, waffles with some jam and sweet cream would be perfect right about now.

"I think that's the most sensible thing you've said sense you got here" Torin joked to the elemental, cheering up a bit.

Orion was unsure if he should take what Torin said as a compliment or an insult, it was kind of a backhanded praise to be honest. He will just give Torin a slight dissatisfied glare at that, while waiting for Sky to put her breakfast recommendation on the table.

"Waffles sound fun" The dragon girl noded, agreeing with the two men

"Waffles it is..." Torin said, and pulled a right turn across three lanes to pull into a "waffle house" which would have been quite dangerous if anyone else had been in the area.

Orion spoke. "You should drive more carefully. But at least we are finally here... I am hungry enough." Orion said as he starts thinking about the menu.

"Almost no one lives here, dont worry about that" Sky said as she opened the door and scanned around in case any creature was near.

"Exactly, this is a hive of monsters, and such; also trailer parks, and a few gas stations. I quite like it to be honest. Plenty of adventure, plenty of excitement." Torin rarely got to fight monsters before moving here, and the others could see from his cheerful face that this was indeed a welcome change for the Necromancer. He swerved into a parking spot way to reckless and fast, just to freak out Orion, and got out soon after Sky.

"We could have still hurt ourselves if Torin had made a mistake, I advice Torin to take it much easier next time." Orion said as they exited the car, though Torin looked strangely cheerful about all this, seems like crazy people who like to live on the edge of danger do exist He isn't going to exactly pretend he understands that.

Torin chuckled "Yeah did you see how fast that nothing was going, one slip and it could have hit us..." The necromancer joked as he headed inside to get some food.

Orion grumbles quietly to himself at Torin's joke, that wasn't what he meant, one could very easily lose control of the car... Well that can wait for now, his brain cannot function properly if he doesn't get some fuel in the form of food, he smiles a little as he thinks about the waffles.
