A Friendly Greeting

Lucian's face was was blushing red as a tomato when he was saved by the pretty witch. "I... uh... thank you" he stammered, he knew they had to do something about the creature before it woke up though

Celeste relaxed and her hand stopped glowing. "I always keep my wand up my sleeve even though with those spells I don't really need it." she said, brushing some dirt off her shoulder. She then pulled out her wand and it slipped out of her pocket into her hand. She made a figure 8 with it and the wendigo disappeared, she had teleported it far away. "Also, you're welcome." she said, relaxing. She then walked over and offered a hand to help him up.

Lucian quickly accepted the hand up still blushing a bit "Well i'm glad you were here" he said

Celeste smiled and helped him up. "Now to answer your question, yes, I am in fact a little hungry and thirsty, but I don't know what you have here to offer." she said, sitting in the one chair.

Lucian took out his grimoire and recited something from it to fix his door, it was a magic book, that did not require the user to know the spell to cast it when they were holding the book. "I've got pizza and soda" lucian offered when he was done

Celeste thought about it. "That's it?" she asked, unimpressed.

"Well there's water and cookies too and i can make tea and sanwhiches" Lucian offered and admitted "I haven't been to the store lately I was working on some new potions."

Celeste snickered a little bit and thought again. "I guess I'll settle for a slice of pizza and some root beer." she said.

Lucian was quick to get her some and himself a bit of pizza as well "So what do you do when you aren't rescuing people from wendigos?" he asked jokingly as he got her the food and drink

Celeste blinked. "Read, take care of my cats, hang out with friends, and take care of my little brother." she said.

"You have cats?" Lucian asked her "I have the spirit of a goat that follows me around" A hovering spectral goat that she had previously not noticed bleated an afirmative from beside her

Celeste gasped and backed away, tripping on the chair leg and falling hard onto her back as the chair had tipped back. She groaned and held onto her head painfully.

"Are you alright?" Lucian asked running over to her

Celeste just groaned again and rolled onto her side, curled up. "No." she answered.

"Need a healing potion?" he asked

Celeste gasped as blood rolled down her forehead. "Shit." she said, she rarely cursed unless she really meant to. She pulled out her wand quickly. She made a spiral and the blood went away. "No, I'm good." she said, slowly standing up and looking at the goat.

The spectral goat bleated innocently

Celeste shook her head a little. "Can you make it go away?" she asked Lucian.

Lucian threw a carrot out the window and the goat charged after it

Celeste raised a brow. "No offense, but how did you get a goat to follow you around?" she asked.

Lucian shurged and said "Well it's not much of a story really, i gave it some cabbage and it started to follow me around, then one day it got hit by a bus, now it's a ghost"

Celeste glanced away sadly at an old memory but then smiled. "You don't know how to make it leave for good?" she asked.

"No i'm not sure i want to, he's not a bad goat" Lucian said and added a bit saddly "and he reminds me of home"

Celeste patted his back a little.

Lucian forced a smile "So what do you want to do til the storm passes, i've got TV video games, magic stuff, board games too but i'm convinced i'm the only person in the world who likes those."
