The Enhancing

The doctor went over to Matthew first with a needle filled with the Speed Infusion liquid, the doctor spoke. "The needle hurts only a little, but once the infusion starts to take effect that might hurt. Here we go..." The doctor said as he stick the needle to Matthew's arm as any sort of doctor. Then he moved over to Andrea and did the same thing with another needle filled with Strength Infusion.

Matt was fine with the needle and waited for the real pain

"Oh god," Andrea murmured, raising her gaze to the ceiling to avoid looking at the horrid little thing. Her pulse quickened, beads of sweat dotting on her forehead, as her entire body stiffened. She couldn't help but flinch as the serum was injected, which probably didn't help with the pain of the jab.

The doctor put the needles away now and spoke. "Okay, I assure you everything will be fine. Just wait patiently and rest..." The doctor said as he went over to the machines to monitor them. As time passed the infusion started to take effect, Matthew and Andrea could start feeling pain spreading through their body.

"So how much speed and strength will we get?" Matthew asked trying to distract himself from the pain

Andrea went into a different direction to distract herself. "Fucking needles."

The doctor spoke while monitoring. "Matthew can run faster than a car and pull the trigger on a handgun like it was machine gun... Andrea can lift cars and throw them around easily, I am sure that if she wants the organization will allow her to carry a cannon..." The doctor said calmly, the pain worsens every minute.

Matt forced himself to ignore it and think of something nice, like the sunset, or tits.

"Cannons are cool," She murmured idly.

The doctor continued to observe as the pain was on the highest number now, most people would lose their consciousness by now.

Matt groaned, he only wished he would lose consciousness

Andrea was muttering and moaning out some soft curse words, many too abominable to repeat. This didn't go on much longer as she did eventually pass out.

As time passed the pain was soon gone, everything seemed fine except the new feel for the enhanced powers.

Matt hopped out of the bed once the pain wore off

The doctor spoke. "The process is complete... Though Andrea has lost her consciousness, expected with many subject. So, how do you feel?" The doctor asked Matthew.

"Not to different" Mat said and asked "How do i know if it worked?"

The doctor spoke. "Go through that door and there is a small race track..." The doctor pointed to a door in the room, that place should help.

Matthew cheerfully walked into said room and tried running around the track as fat as he could

Matthew could notice that as he increased in speed, he was going very fast. He was going in the track much faster than any Olympic runner could.

Matt kept pushing it to see if he could actually outrun a car

He went even faster, and definitely much faster than a car. The scene was remarkable, the doctor was taking notes in the background.

After a few laps matt gradually slowed down which took two more laps til he stopped thanks to inexperience

The doctor took notes and observed, Matthew would have to practice in here.

"Do you have a shooting range in here?" He hopped he would be able to use his power to shoot things faster

The doctor nodded. "Yes, yes of course. Come and follow me then..." The doctor walked our of the room, the doctor showed a door to Matthew that had a shooting range on the other side.
