The Enhancing

"Thanks syl, take care of yourself"  Mat said going in for an early bed time

When Andrea arrived home and received the letter, she the neighbours a little sneak peak victory dance. And then she remembered that she was in public, cleared her throat a little before making her way inside to pack.

Sylvia just nodded, not sure what this all would entail but she was not worried.

The next day, it was time to gather up in the facility.

Matt was there on time with whatever he needed giddy as a school girl he would get sweet powers

Matthew was let into the main lobby, he would have to wait a little until he was taken in by the scientists.

Andrea arrived soon after, slightly less excited than the bouncing school girl, but still excited for this.

A male doctor like person approaches them and speaks. "Ah, you must be..." He looks at the clipboard on his hand and continues. "...Matthew and Andrea... Good, good... Then follow me, we are ready to treat you." The doctor said and was ready to lead them to the enhancing chambers.

She smiled and followed.

Matthew also followed offering andrea a fist bump on the way

(Dibs on the speed serum for matt btw. since i will be gone for like an hour and a half in a minute)

(Aw man then that would render Andrea's only strength against him obsolete.)

(unless she gets a strength enhancement in which case she can lift trucks and shit)

She returned the fist bump.

The doctor led them into the room, he showed them 2 beds to lie on with all sorts of equipment around them and a table of different colored vials.

"Dibs on superspeed" matt chuckled and laid on one of the bed

She hopped up on the next bed. "Of course."

The doctor spoke as he put some gloves on. "Okay, you can relax... This will hurt a bit, and you may lose your consciousness during the process but that is fine... I only have few questions for you, we will start simple. Do you want the Speed Infusion, Strength Infusion, Endurance Infusion or Agility Infusion?" The doctor asked as he moved the colored vials closer.

"I'd like the speed" Matthew said to him to determine his own

Start simple? Could they not have told them about these options earlier so they had time to think about it? Well what did she need most? Sure, she was fairly strong, but not terribly so. "Strength," She blurted out, without really thinking about it.

The doctor nodded and went to adjust the equipment, the doctor came over them and put sensors on them to monitor their heartbeat and brain activity a little.

Matt was calm and ready for it "You said start" he mentioned to kill time and asked "Will we be able to get more later?"

he doctor as he placed the equipment answered the question. "Yes, once we make progress on this research... I am sure we will see each other again at a later date..." The doctor assured as he then picked up the vials and needles.

"Neat" MAtt said totally ready for this
