Witch hunt

The magician continued on his way, his sards would protect him from their curses, and if they wanted a stand up fight he was armed well enough for one

The woman as she raised her hand to scratch could see little lumps running around... under her skin

She gave a gasp at the lumps beneath her skin. Panic surged as she clawed at them.

Mercy would step back for now. However, the witch she had exchanged words with was now carefully trailing the man.

The magician made a detour through an empty and unused ally

The witch found herself  entirely convinced she was being consumed from the inside  out and she needed to tear her own flesh away to stop it

However the magician did not exit there, but seemed to disappear instead

The witch would fall unconscious, and wake up, badly inured, but alive near the covens home an hour later

The witch waiting for him went in looking for him when he did not exit.

Leilir was found of course, by another witch. They all knew where she had been. They were all enraged at this treatment. Both Leilir and Mercy were interrogated, and both received the suitable punishments for their carelessness. And then they plotted their revenge...

There was a flash of blue light in the alley, anyone who went to investigate would find the witch alone, deceased, and looking as if she had been struck by lightning.

Talutah found the corpse. She burnt it to ash, and watched the ash drift away in the wind, before returning to the coven.

A small wagon ladened with bells pulls into the town , it's chimes filling the streets with the sound of ringing metal and whistling wind as it stops and a man hold off , taking a look around at his sorroundings.

"Will we continue passing through or stay and observe?"

"Hmmn ? Francois asks , his head swiveling around to find the source of the voice .

"We shall observe this may be entertaining" said the warlock

Francois is confused , he thought he had heard a voice , but guess not.

Francois can sense a great amount of magical energy in this town, the power of a magician coming from a nearby manner, the dark power of dozens of witches around the town and in the woods, and a bit of very powerful but uncontrolled white magic from a friendly and handsome looking man who approached his wagon "I must recommend you do not stay here long trader evil forces hold this town under siege" Rowan stated to the man

Francois raises a brow "Evil forces ? Of what kind? " He can obviously sense it but the towns person has most likely seeny and can give him a description.

"Witches in the woods, they terrorize the town each night or send their demons, they strike  fast and we can never stop them" Rowan explained to the outsider "I have looked for a witch hunter, but found none in these parts"

Francois nods slowly "I understand , I suppose I can't stay around long then , I can take care of myself but I'm not sure a flintlock can kill a demon"

"It can't I've tried, it can kill a witch though" Rowan said to the man

The day grew dark early. An eclipse blanketed the land in unnatural darkness. As if that was not enough, clouds drew in, shutting out any possible light. A storm brewed. Thunder and lightning crackled directly overhead, and thick rain pelted the houses, as if trying to break down the supports. A sense of dread crept into the people's hearts.

"Foul Weather...Think it is natural?"
