"Well, we could have locked ya up, but your whole shadow thing kind of makes that obsolete," She shrugged. "So yeah. Sorry about this mate," She raised her gun, getting ready to pull the trigger.

(I dunno if that would work to devalue the hunters again though, your thoughts koy?)

Acheron grinned and he used the last of his strength to put her in Mind Game, she would find herself in a dark empty room with no doors or windows. Acheron used his will to live as a source of strength to lift himself up quickly and go, he had one destination in mind and that was the Nightwood Inn.

"Gah!" She cried, and ran to one wall to bang her fists on it. Her heart hammered in her throat, darkness seeming to grow closer to her. Her thoughts fled her mind, as fear pressed against her. She grunted and slid to the ground, squeezing her eyes shut. "Okay, okay, you can do this," She whispered to herself. "It's not real, it's not real. Just... relax." Okay, there was training for this... Yes! Yes, there was. She could get out of here. Eventually, the walls crumbled as she forced herself to concentrate on it, and she found herself back in that ally with the kid gone. "Ah, shit."

Matthew now free of his prison as well  ran into the alley a moment later with his gun and flashlight ready but he lowered them when he saw the shadow demon had escaped "Are you alright?" he asked his fellow hunter who had been downed momentarily by the demon's mind tricks

She dusted herself off, looking to Matt. "Did you see where he went?" She asked, striding out of the ally and looking around at the street.

"No I fell behind when he used his damn mind tricks on me, but perhaps..." Matthew had an idea, as he had shot the demon several times he looked around for a blood trail oping it may have left one, it would be too weak to do too much if they could quickly track it down, it was wounded badly and low on power.

"Ah, me too," she murmured. She spotted a few spots of blood on the pavement and, with a little whoop of joy, headed off in that direction.

There was indeed a blood trail, but Acheron was not stupid and tries to subside it for a short while to stop the trail and get them lost as he went for refuge in the Nightwood Inn.

(Can Chris be in the inn?)

As Achy makes it through the door ,Chris's head turns to see who the newcomer is . When he catches sight of the bleeding demon he rushes over and begins to help him up to Acheron's room. "Dude ,what happened?"

Acheron finally reached his destination, he shut the door behind him and was glad that Chris came to help him as Cassandra went already over to get the medical kit. "I walked into a trap... Hunters... Pretending a robbery, the police were in in the act... I got fooled hard... I could have escaped but then this one dude comes and has a flashlight, a hunter too... I barely survived..." Acheron said as his clothes were bloody due to the gunshot wounds.

Chris nods "You're a demon so you should be able to recover in a few days right?"

Acheron answers as they go up the stairs. "Yes... But this still hurts you know? And someone has to remove the bullets from my fucking lungs!" Acheron exclaimed, as they soon arrived at his room.

Lucian is rolls out from under the bed

Acheron was not sure what the hell was that guy doing under his bed. "Who are you and what were you doing under mye bed!? You are a thief aren't you..." Acheron assumed and he coughs a little blood.
