Going Out for a While

"A few minutes later , a bloody and exhausted joshua had defeated the mages, and loaded a tower of fast food like pizzas onto carts. He was now making Cass her favorite coffee, and some for himself as he breathed heavily from the intense hand to hand fighting that most humans would have quickly perished in.

Cassandra was completely speechless, the were still going to stay here? After all that?

He then handed Cassandra a to go cup  "We should probably get out of here, if we have enough blankets" he  said getting ready to wheel to cart out to the car.

Cassandra took the cup and took a sip, she then spoke. "Yes indeed, I am sure we will survive with the things we have now... Also, this tastes great, thank you..." She said with a smile and started walking back to the van.

"least i could do for a lovely lady such as yourself" Joshua said as he wheeled the cart out to the car

Cassandra followed sipping the coffee, guess it was time to move the goods to the castle before anything else shows up.

Soon the two were rolling out in the car again headed toward the castle

Cassandra finished her coffee, she wondered how they were going to get this stuff inside. "So... How do we move all of this inside?" She asked if Joshua had any idea.

"I figured we'd drive it in through the front gates" Joshua suggested to her

Cassandra then spoke. "If that was an option why did we leave through the window?" She asked him.

"So no undead would notice us leaving due to the gate opening" Joshua explained "We'll honk for them too open when we get close then just drive in."

Cassandra was quiet for now, waiting for them to get back to the castle.

Joshua speed down the street with a big smile on his face ,a successful mission, and they were basically home safe. His smile vanished as he looked in the rear view mirror, and saw a bunch of skeletons, and ghouls in three Road warrior style vehicles with flamethrower turrets pursuing them "Cass can you use a gun?" he asked the werewolf

Cassandra answered him. "No...? I have never had the need..." She said honestly since she can just go all wolf like and rip things into shreds.

"Oh... don't suppose that helps up here" Joshua sias an pointed toward the vehicles in pursuit

Cassandra was not really concerned but something had to be done, she spoke. "Maybe I should drive...?" She asked Joshua so he can do the shooting.

"Yeah grab the wheel" Joshua said firing on the undead

Cassandra quickly shifted to take the wheel and start driving while Joshua did all the other stuff, like keeping the undead away. She always warned him when she made a turn.

"Drive faster!" Joshua exlaimed as he missed two shots then hit one of the drivers who crashed into another vehicle

Cassandra steps on it and tries to get them to safety.

The castle soon comes into view as Joshua fires on the last undead vehicle
