Going Out for a While

With all that had happened when Khem made an army of undead they were safe inside the walls of a castle, but with all the people in here they needed more supplies. While Khem was focusing on other tasks for now Cassandra saw the moment to sneak out and find more useful items for them to survive on, she decided to ask help from Joshua so she approached him and spoke. "Joshua? We need more supplies and other items, things seem quiet outside now so would you mind coming with me and sneak to gather these items?" She asked him and waited for an answer.

Joshua nodded, it was nightfall, and as good a time to try and sneak out "Good idea, winter is about to hit, we need coats, and blankets." he agreed with Cassandra, he ussually did, she was quite a leader in his opinion.

Cassandra nodded, she then went to search for a spot to get out. If anything else she can always go all wolf like and climb her way out of here.

Joshua took out his empowered wand  out of his trenchcoat "I've got just the thing  for this, i use it in my more invasive P.I. work. take my arm so we don't lose eachother." He said before he cast a spell of invisiblity on them.

Cassandra took hold of Joshua's arm gently, wondering what Joshua was planning.

It came clear that the two  were invisible even to eachother, Joshua had given her his arm so the wouldn't get separated "After you ma'am" he said to her

Cassandra could still smell Joshua, she ventured off to a wall with a broken window and stared at it.

Joshua was rather use to climbing into  places he wasn't meant to be, so he scaled his way up through the window rather easily, and helped Cassandra out, even though she was physically more capable than hi he still wanted to be a gentleman

Cassandra giggled a bit at this as they climbed out, then they would drop down and go in their way. Cassandra used her good smell to try avoid any undead in the city, as they went into places that had blankets and stuff like a mall.

She could practically smell joshua blush as she giggled, but he continued to act  the gentleman to the werewolf as they went on the way. When they were approaching the mall Joshua saw no undead nearby so he suggested to her "we need to load up, so let's find a car to steal, and take off our invisibility."

Cassandra nodded and she was ready for action, it was a good idea to get as much as they needed so they won't feel cold when the cold sets in.

"Alright, I'll find a car, and meat you in the front of the mall, you start grabbing things we need, and take them there." Lucian came up with a plan as he made them visible again. He tried to find a car that looked like it had a quieter engine

Cassandra sprinted off, she found various stores with stuff they needed. She started piling thick blankets to carry with her, she was strong enough to carry very heavy loads of stuff after all.

Joshua was able to find  minivan, and rive it around the front of the mall "Damn girl you can lift" he said with a chuckle as he got out to help "You make me feal out of shape." The taller more muscular man said lightheartedly

Cassandra giggled at that, she loaded the minivan with the stuff and spoke. when done. "Okay, I will run off to get some more. We will need all the stuff we can get..." She said and was ready to go.

"I'll help" Joshua followed after her asking "hey we probably won't be out for a while do you want to stop at coffee shop while we're here?" he asked the werewolf cassually

Cassandra as they went off to get more stuff answered. "Do you think it is safe?" She wondered, she was not one for risks.

"What do you think the undead hordes, need to get their morning Joe?" Joshua asked as he saw a sign to the food court

Cassandra shrugged and decided to go with Joshua's idea, maybe there was nothing to worry about.

The food court was crowded as ever when they rounded the corner, undead were sitting casually enjoying fast food at the tables on their lunch break "Errors have been made..." Joshua said taking out his wand when as the couple dozen undead began to stand up hefting various melee weapons

Cassandra was completely speechless at the sight she as witnessing, but guess it was time to hurry up and go already.

Evidently Joshua disagreed as he drew his knife, and charged blasting fireballs into the horde

A few undead mages made ice shields that melted as the fireballs hit them, allowing the undead to proceed.

Quickly he dived behind a trashcan to  avoid several fireballs, then pulled his pistol with magic piercing bullets, and with old west gunfighter like speed shot each undead mage in the head

The soldier undead were now defenseless without their mages, but Cassandra was wondering if she should let Joshua handle this or if she should go all wolf on them.
