Expensive car, poor street

Before he could even completely process who or what that thing was, Flynt felt his instincts for battle kick in. Without even the slightest of plan he dashed forward, feet pounding on the pavement as, pupils dilating like a cats, he drew a long cold iron dagger from his jacket and leaping for the things back jammed the blade in deep.

The Creature shrieked a shriek that rang out for miles, and squirmed like a smashed bug as the knife sunk into what felt like flesh, but began to dissipate evaporating into black smoke.

Flynt growled like a feral beast as he twisted the knife in it's back and began to rip upwards through it's 'flesh' His mind blissfully empty but for the instinctual compulsion to kill this utterly wrong monstrosity before it feasted on whatever prey it had been reaching for.

Geera would again trh to get away from whatever was shrieking behind the fire

Unsheathing the knife from the creatures back he hopped off of the now dissipating ghost and turned to look through the fire and see what the thing had been after.

Geera would look puzzled at the man who stood where that creature had been. She was civered in dirt, wounds and blood, but he wuld see that she was quite a looker.

Not that he really cared "..You're not human, what happened here?" He questioned bluntly, pale blue eyes narrowing as he looked over her.

"Wwhat? I..I was driving..aand then I hit something and crashed..I got out of the car and a wweird guy was looking at me" Geera would stammer, in shock

"And the fire?" He replied with a skeptical raise of the brow, sheathing his knife. Flynt wasn't one for prejudice, but he'd never exactly taken to trusting most non humans, especially not spirits.

"Im a djinn, aand I tried to keep that thing away from mme" Geera explained

"Right, like the wish granting type?" He questioned with a stoic expression as he offered her a hand up, he'd get her to one of the community hospitals, then head back home.

That would be easier said than done, as they walked out of the alley together they  saw shadowy figures with yellow eyes and broad yellow grins that stretched quite literally all the way from ear to ear staring at them. There were eight of the figures in total Just standing around spread out through the street.

Flynt couldn't help the slight chill that run up his spine, eyes widening slightly at the appearance of the figures. "Can you still walk on your own?" He asked the djinn quietly, calming himself as he drew out his iron knife and prepared for battle.

"Yyeah" Geera answered, afraid "I can walk..Aan I can use fire tto keep them a bit at bay.."

It didn't take long for them to realize staying and fighting them head on while outnumbered four to one, was a bad call as the creatures began to pop and crack and grow bigger as they began approaching the pair with their smiles firm, and a casual if inhuman stride.

"Well than do that." He ordered flatly as he grabbed her hand turned tail and ran.

Geera would try to keep up, but one thing was walking, and another was running. She would pray to any gods that existed to not let her leg die on her.

Well unfortunately he turned tail and ran straight into an ally, fortunately that ally contained  a myriad of doors to rundown buildings to cut through, and the creatures were running just too slow to catch them, and snickering at eachother... they were toying with their prey.

Flynt felt an ember of anger begin to smolder as he ran, they were playing...that feeling was all too familiar.

Geera would once again make a wall of flames closing the entrance to the alleway "wwhere do we go??" she asked, paniking

"Stop panicking and just breath." He replied evenly as he took a sharp turn around a building heading out to the open street "We'll get out of here just fine."

The figures were beginning to grow longer and step over the flames, they had to decide fast. As they darted out back into a street the figures seemed to have stopped following at least foe a moment, seemed was likely the operative word.

Geera would run besides that man, trying to keep her mouth shut, she was afraid, but she understood that she wasnt helping in that condition.

Flynt's eyes darted about rapidly as he quickly scanned over the street for any pursuers, he knew they hadn't shaken them. They were hunting, playing, they would draw this out until he and this girl were tired and scared, but he didn't plan on letting that happen.
