Deserted street

Aiko walks through the night, still thinking about Mutt, and work, specially what tricks could she do convinating her fire and illusions, she even could replicate those monsters that attacked before, controlling the illusion of one could be impresive for the ones that didnt know about her magic.

As she walked the deserted street it wouldn't be long before she would hear a soft skittering sound on the street around her it certainly sounded familiar; yet when she topped and turned around the noise would stop and she saw nothing, perhaps it was just her imagination, but it always seemed to be coming closer, and was rather similar to the sound heard before those unnatural creatures had attacked the pub, needless to say her alone against such creatures would not be an ideal situation.

Aiden couldn't get any sleep so a late night walk should do the trick, he had a lot in his mind right now as he walked through the quiet streets. Maybe he should get a snack from one of those 24/7 open cafes, Cafe Indigo has some nice jelly filled donuts...

Aiko's ears perk up and opens her eyes, her sight being better than a human in the darkness. Feels a cold sweat on the back and uses her magic to turn invisible.

As she was about to do that she steped on a patch of ice from the morning's rain on the street and fell forward onto her face, perhaps she cursed her luck as she fell, then felt the long cut of a blade across her back, a cut that would have done permanent damage, if not for the little fall she had. Yet now she was on the ground, and the monster approached already but a few feet away

"FUCK!" Aiko says in total panic, before launching a torrent of fire on the monster while her tails emit a flaming light, but exhausting herself.

Aiden as walking close by as he was heading for that cafe for the donuts, he heard Aiko shout making him stop and stir him out of his thought. Noticing the monster, and Aiko down about to get sliced and diced he runs towards them instantly. Then as he got close, he clenched his hand in a fist and hit the monster square on its face sending it sprawl backwards by sheer force.

"TTHANKS!" Aiko says, in panic "Iis it alive??"

The creature indeed began to slowly skitter to its feet despite most of the bones in its face having collapsed, most off its teeth have been knocked out and its smile is now crooked but it hardly seems phased as it begins skittering at them again

Aiden grabs Aiko by the wrist and help her stand quickly and then start running away with her, or at least try without saying much as panic mode and all that.

Aiko accepts the help and runs with him, blasting fire towards that thing.

The creature takes the fireball to the face and shrieks, they round the corner before it can pursue, then another, and another, until they have seemingly lost it.

Aiden stops running for now and pants heavily, he tries to speak while panting. "Hey... Are you... Okay...?" He asks Aiko, those creatures sure are good runners despite what they look like but not good enough apparently since they lost it.

"Yyeah" Aiko whimpers from pain "jjust a cut.."

"Good..." AsAiden starts to catch his breath. "I wasn't much looking where we were running, so I don't have much of an idea where to go. Think we should call the police? Then again our top priority is to get to safety, like home. Any ideas which way to go?" Aiden asks her and scratches his head a bit.

"Yyeah..My home is near" Aiko says, in pain

"Lead the way, I will stay alert if anything shows up." Aiden says, he sure talks like he is somehow going to protect her but in truth he was scared. He had again punched that creature so hard it stumbled backwards a great deal, damn, just what was going on?

Aiko nods and starts to lead the way. Aiden can see the cut that the beast made, crossing all her back.

Aiden gets a bit worried and speaks up. "Ummm, that cut on your back... It looks pretty bad, are you sure you are okay?" He asks her again, it was bleeding quite badly after all.

"It hurts a lot, but it wont kill me, I'm a kitsune, but it hurts.." continues leading the way.

"If you say so, once we get to your home I will help you treat the wound. We are close right?" Aiden wonders, he wanted to help her.

"Thanks..And yeah" Aiku continues untill they arrive at a little apartment. Aiko opens the door and enters at her chaitic home. Boxes and mountains of things covering every surface. Bottles of alcohol litter the corners and a slice of pizza is on the table "sorry...didnt clean up.."

Aiden looks at the place, he did not expect Aiko to be the type of having such a place but appearance can be deceiving. "It is fine, take a seat and rest. I will get the medical kit, it is in your bathroom right?" He asks while looking for the bathroom door.

"Yeah..Second door at the left" Aiko sits down on a chair.

Aiden opens the right door and gets the medical kit there, he walks back with it and puts it on a nearby table and starts taking out the equipment. "Hold on, I will cleanse the wound first, this might sting a little..." Aiden says as he takes a moist handkerchief and proceeds to cleanse the wound with it, it does sting a little. "So, what were you doing out so late?" Aiden asks trying to have a conversation while he does this.
