Expensive car, poor street

Geera would be driving in her car across the street, wanting to go to cruise across the desert at max speed as she sometimes did.

Without warning as she cruised along those silent and deserted streets there was a deafening pop and the car jolted, immediately Veering off left toward a derelict lamp post out of control. It was fortunate for Geera in her fast and stylish car that she had not been going faster, as while the sudden impact of her car and the lamp post left the young djinn jolted, shook, and bruised her, she did in fact survive without serious injury.

"Ffuck!!" Geera would slowly open the door and get out, stumbling and groaning in pain, checking for any wounds

Geera was covered in bruises and her knee was really banged up, but nothing had been seriously hurt, except her new and expensive car... which had a caved in hood and a blown out tire.

"nonononono! It was new! for fucks sake" she groaned, her optimistic attitude gone

Her voice proceeded to echo for miles in any direction, then he street gave its reply of deafening silence as its decrepit buildings loomed over her with stoic anticipation.

Geera would sigh and take out her phone, calling to the emergency number.

The phone began to dial, for a minute it seemed like she would just be able to call and get a ride home, then without warning static interrupted the line, the sound of ringing and dialing with a single sound... A slow and rythmic breathing.

"wwhat the..Hello?? does someone hear me? hello?" Geera asked, starting to panic.

As Geera spoke into the phone the breathing stopped, and a shadow darted across the street in the corner of her eye. It had been brief, and perhaps it was merely a trick of the light, but in her current state could she really convince herself that it was?

Geera would turn arround, to where she saw the shadow, and she would turn invisible, moving away of where she had been, terrified

As Geera crept away invisibly she saw something. A man, an extraordinarily homeless looking man, his jacket and pants covered in filth, his shirt more hole than cloth, white hair and beard wild and unkempt, and his wrinkled tan skin the consistency of leather from long days in the sun. As she back away his eyes followed her invisible as she was, a plastered on grin revealing teeth well into the single digits and half rotted gums that felt deeply sinister.

Geera opened her eyes wide, seeong that the man followed her with his gaze

The man just stood there, grinning, as his eyes followed her.

"Sstay away!" She would start to run to the opposite direction, her heart going wild

Just as she started running Geera felt a single sharp claw lightly graze her back. Though the pressure as she was moving away had not been enough to cut, she had felt the fine sharp point brush softly the skin over her spine just as she had started her proverbial fight. Perhaps she would have run all the way home, sadly with her knee in the shape it was she fell on her face with the joint throbbing sharply in protest as soon after she had rounded the corner at the end of the block.

Geera screamed, trying to get back on her feet and trying to cast a wall of flames behind her

The wall appeared as she staggered to her feet, but there was nothing on her heels, for the time being she may have left it behind in her sprint.

Geera started to ealk as fast as her kneee would let her, trying to get away from there. Her bloos was pumping from the fear and her hands trembled, being the most horrifying moment of her life

When she turned to resume running away she saw a figure on the street, a dark humanoid shape, though much taller and with oddly long and slender arms. The figure was entirely black as if made of shadows, except for its yellow eyes, and perfect, grinning row of yellow teeth.

Geera would rise her arms, forming two fireballs that she throwed at the creature.

The creature moved like it was liquid, warping its form with a grotesque crunch to avoid the fireballs and ran in a gangly and awkward way toward her.

A terrified Geera would try to raise a wall of fire between them.

In the month or so since he'd arrived in Springview, Flynt had come to the conclusion that one of his favorite things about the whole place was Ghost Town. Quiet, abandoned, with fresh air and a solid view of the night sky above the derelict neighborhoods...though dangerous. It was normally rather serene, and Flynt found an eerie kind of peace in walking the quiet streets on his own. Even so he always kept vigilant while walking, and seeing the sudden glow of fire from a street down the block he quickly turned his head to see what was going on.

He turned to see the back of a massive gangly shadow creature its body elongating with sickening cracks and pops, as it grows large enough to try and reach over the fire wall with a long taloned hand grabbing for something or someone on the other side.
