Deserted street

"Yeah... I still kinda feel partially to blame in that, once this is all over I will help you get back on your feet..." Aiden promises her.

"That friend of yours delilah is dead, with a letter for me in her mouth at my appartment" Matthew explained bluntly "A letter telling me you are next"

Silence on the other end for a time; matt heard some cluttering and banging before she spoke again clearer than before. "Matt I swear to god if you're taking the piss right now I will force feed you your testicles."

"Thanks" Aiko smiles, glad

Aiden gives her a smile back, for now he moves to rest on one of the cots while Thomas was sleeping on the couch. "Good night..." Aiden tells Aiko as he closes his eyes.

"Do you think I'd call you of all people to screw around with? make sure your doors and windows are locked I think this is about those shriekers I've been killing" HE would calmly explain

"good night" Aiko looks after the two while they sleep

She peered warily out of the wall length window of her flat. She was high up over looking the city, and so any assassination attempt was unlikely unless through magical means. "I can take care of myself," she said, and headed to the silver twin blades mounted on the wall where she plucked them down and gave them a few spins. "Why did they go to you anyway?" The fact her friend was dead... well she tried to dismiss that from her mind. She would be no use grieving. Distraction is what she can do now.

"I don't think they did" He replied softly trying to be sympathetic "I think they were killed on the street and left here as a message."

The sound of the phone being set down was followed by the hiss of a blade through air and ceramic shattering. The phone was picked up again. "I appreciate you giving me a heads up. Now I need to buy a new vase.

"And I need to talk to your boss" Matthew said clearly dreading that conversation

"Good luck." She said, and was quiet for a moment. When she spoke again, her voice was somewhat softer. "Thanks for caring, Matt."

"... yeah" Matthew said after a moment's silence, unsure how to really respond he said "I'll talk to you later lin"

"Let me know if you get any more info," she said. "Bye" she quickly hung up before she further ruined her hard ass rep

Next up matthew would dial another number, the number of una the fae queen in exile and the dead girl's employer

It was the number for the bar, for Una didn't have a personal mobile as she preferred more tradivisional methos of long distance communication. "Tuatha Dé Danann," came her airily response, fully prepared for this to be some customer complaining  about the incident at the bar.

"Hey if it isn't my favorite fae queen" He tried to flatter her before getting down to bussiness "So uh... I got home today, and I couldn't help but notice a dead fae dancer in my bed... along with a note threatening to kill lin if I keep killing those monsters like the one that attacked your pub..."

He then perhaps received the most unexpected response, for she immediately hung up. He was unable to remain surprised at that for very long, for next thing he heard was: "Matthew."

"You could have said you were coming over." Matthew leaned against the wall and glanced in her direction unnaturally relaxed given the situation "I already called lin;she'll be ready if anything comes her way... So... do you want the body?"

"I favour a dramatic entrance," she replied, and swept her arm in the direction of the crime scene. "Evidently I am not the only one. A shame, she was talented." As una's gaze landed on the butchered fae, a look of sadness at the loss of one of her own touched her face, but it was swiftly swept away by tact and diplomacy. "I will increase the protection for Linnea and the rest of my workers for the meantime. "I will take the body" she turned back to him. "Now tell me everything you know."

"Not much, just that I had to save that kid from those monsters again earlier and what is on this note" He said and handed her the note in question that had been found on the Dancer's body.

"Fret not, I have my people investigating it as well..." she said, pausing a moment to read the note. With some sleight of hand it seemed to disappear. "I will come to the bottom of it. Thank you for alerting me of this."

"Can you uh... do something with the body,I can get rid of it myself but... it might be better if the family gets it back" Matthew said glancing at the dead fae saddly for a moment, then asking "Do you need help with the investigation?"

"Yes, I will have someone sent to collect her," she assured him. "If you wish to help you can join Cayden, my bar keep. I asked him to investigate but he will appreciate the help, I think."

"I'll meet with him tommorrow night, in the meantime I need food and rest"
