Out of place

"Alarmingly often...ever since I began hunting down the 32 Artifacts , I've had this feeling in the back of my mind , like a chip of a corn kernel that's stuck in the back of my throat....I mean that's a pretty strange way to put it but you're picking up what I'm puttin' down savvy?" He replies as he twirls a cigar between his fingers.

"Maybe you're just getting older" Ezrune joked

"Hey! I've aged like fine wine I'll have you know! Besides not like you're one of them Hollywood Sheik's yourself" He retorts jokingly as he sits back "It is worrying , hope it's nothing though."

"Probably magic" Ez concluded

"I wouldn't be surprised." He nods as he stares absently out of the window down onto the ground which quickly becomes farther and farther away.

Ez begins humming the tune to dust in the wind despite it not having been written yet

(Sigh , we wait for Ki , then we skip)

Lori had fallen asleep.

And all were greatful

Lori woke up only to correct the spelling of grateful.

And they cursed they gods for her waking...

Predictably , it is raining when they land down at a lonely airstrip along the English coast , the thick clouds making everything a cool tone of grey ,contrasting with the rich shade of the green grass that surrounds the lone airport. A black slick sedan waiting nearby , presumably for them.

Ez was just happy to get up and stretch... and poke lori awake

Hill slips on a grey heavy overcoat and fedora hat , if only so he can keep chewing on his cigar without it getting soggy and ruined.

"Go away" she grumbled st Ez

"We've landed get up" Ezrune said

"I'm gonna go formally introduce yourself , take your time I don't want the mutt screwing things up." He teases as he hops down from the door neighboring the cockpit.

"To who?" Ez asked and gave up leaving lori on the plane

"Bitch don't leave me" Lori said, running after them

Stop calling everyone that and I'll consider it , besides you're not exactly the most mannerly of mutts , so just let me talk to them okay?" He replies as he gestures to the black sedan that sits not too far away.

Ez gave lori a look "Lori I need to make a good impression here." Ez implored, this was clearly importand here and acting like a fool was a betrayal of his trust

Lori folded her arms and scowled.

"Good Afternoon gentleman , I'm dreadfully sorry to interrupt but you see our task is of the highest urgency ." A diminutive gentleman with mousy brown eyes , an austere mustache and the stance of a career pencil pusher "I am Dr. Abraham Montgomery Falsworth , and I assume you two gentleman are Sir. Zebulon Julius Hill and Mr. Ezrune , and that beautiful young woman is your companion Ms. Lori Aryes , a great pleasure meeting you all most indubitably." Hill just smirks and replies "I think that was the most absolutely English thing I have ever heard good sir , but it's a pleasure all the same"

"Good to meet you doctor" Ezrune offered his mostly human hand to shake

He nods and takes the hand firmly "Alright then , if you'd grab your bags and such?" He requests "There's more than enough space to store them for the ride....unless Hill has decided to bring his wardrobe as well."
