"Thank ya" Ez said and collected his suitcase, for he brought only one

The doctor's brows raise if only for a second , but then relax as he remembers his compatriots lower class background "Hmmn , efficient with your luggage I see , are you sure you're an American my good sir?" He jibes good-naturedly.

"I take only what I need" Ez said with a frienly smile that revealed his shark's maw

"By jove....are those real?"

"Yes sir" Ezrune said cheerfully "it's all real"

Lori snickered at the word "jove"

"Terribly sorry about that little outburst my good lad , I wasn't expecting that" He admits with a sheepish smile as he ushers them to the car and opens the door for them to enter.

"Is there anything I should know about the magic academy, seeing as I'm going to be vissiting?" Ezrune inquired as he got in the car

"Aside from the obvious magic and all , not really , I mean there are a few places to which you would not want to wander yet I'm sure you're more than competent enough to avoid such things."

"Alright then, sounds neat enough"

"Well I'd hope so ,after all it's a very prestigious place."

"The best in europe i've heard" Ez said politely

He chuckles "You've heard lies"

"Really?" he asked legitimately surprised

"There is one better , than ours yes , though it pains me to say it." He replies with a sheepish chuckle.

"Saddly I doubt their Archmage also knew my parents" Ez chuckled

"I would be most surprised if they had , most surprised indeed, regardless I'm a good friend of the headmaster , he said great things about them , shame what happened , yet no use dwelling on it eh?"

"Just goes to show, a stray bullet can fell the best of us" Ez said with a nod, he came to terms with their deaths years ago

Lori watched curiously. She had never heard anyhting about his family.

"Indeed , yet away from such sorrowful faire , let's discuss the purpose of your arrival !"

"I'd like to say I could afford to travel this far for a simple visit, however I am seeking a focusing crystal to enhance my staff." He explained, a staff with no crystal could be a powerful, but with one... that was a creation that was typically only found in the possession of Some master wizards, and the archmages or prestigious university such was their rarity, finding one would be a challenge , but there were tales of ones that had gone missing with their masters and their were likely small deposits still around somewhere... if anyone knew where to find one it's a prestiegious arch mage

"Hmnn , a staff user? Bit old fashioned don't you think?"

"It was my vision of a catalyst, my dad always said to make what you see in your mind's eye and It will serve you best." Ezrune explained to him "I suppose my mind's eye has an appreciation for the classics"

"I'm a ring man myself , much less powerful , but I'm no fighter , more a diplomat really...though that may have to change soon." He replies with an understanding nod .

"Because of the Nazi guys? are they that bad?" he asked
