Matt hands it to her and says "Dunno if it's better than what you have"

Dawn hands him her old shield , planks tied together by what appears to be shoe strings.

"How are you not dead?" he asked examining it

"Death plans to take me in my sleep , because if I was awake I'd kick it's punk ass " She brags.

Matt chuckled "Ok there teddy brosevelt"

"Dev back me up here"

And while everyone's attentions are on Dawn Chris grabs Leo's hand and begins leading him over to one of the rentable rooms.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY" MAtt called seeing this

"Why are you so bad at being a good friend?"

Matt chuckled

"It's true, I can completely attest to what shes saying, " Dev confirmed.

Leo just followed sheepishly.

Matt rolled his eyes "You're a rogue right?"

"Yep"

He hnaded her some new boots which was all he found for a rogue

Chris continues leading Leo off , but is now super embarrassed.

"Badass," Dev said, sticking the boots on.

Leo was also very embarrassed.

"SO why'd you pick a half orc?" Chris asks with a grin as he leads Leo into their room and flops down on the bed.

"It looked cool," He replied with a shrug, joining him on the bed.

"Oh it does , believe me it does" Chris replies with a pervy laugh as he kisses Leo's cheek, hands still visibly shaking as he cups Leo's cheek in his hand.

"You're shaking," Leo said, concerned eyes locking with Chris' as he rested a hand atop Chris'.

"Yep..yeppity yep I am doing that "He observes as he leans his head on Leo's chest and lets out a long shaking sigh. "What the fuck just happened to me?"

Leo buried his hands in his hair, holding him close. "Whatever it was, let's make sure it doesn't happen again."

Chris collapses into his arms with all the grace of a walrus doing a barrel roll , arms pulling Leo into a close embrace, hands still trembling "..I felt so helpless."

Leo's arms encircled Chris, and he rested his chin against his head. "I'll do whatever I can to make sure it doesn't happen again."

Chris nods slowly "I thought ...I thought I'd never get to be with you again..never get to hold you , or kiss you or anything...and..that was terrifying" He admits , voice beginning to crack as he does so "Because you mean the world to me Leo, and I wouldn't want to lose you not even for a day" He continues the cracking intensifying as tears begin to flow.

Leo's grip tightens on Chris slightly, the pain in his voice causing Leo's stomach to roll, his heart to gallop. "Youre not going to lose me, Chris. I'll never leave you." He said.
