Matt went to sit with the others at a table and opened the books to check what spells they taught

It seems he's gonna have to actually read these things , because unlike Skyrim the knowledge isn't just rushing into his head.

After a while of poring through Mat figures out that within is a healing spell called Sun's Blessing , and a spell that allows a mage to return to the last place they saved called 'Call to Home , as well as a spell that grants the ability to imprison ones foes in briars.

Matt put the books in his inventory and put the rest of the loot on the table "soooo how do we distribute this?"

"Is this really what we're doing first , what about a memorial for that handsome (and charming , and intelligent , super generous ) devil Chris? Isn't he more important that loot asshole?" Chris replies with a small frown , dark eyes glaring at Matt.

"Everyone could pick what they want," Leo suggested in a quiet voice.

"That could happen yes " Chris agrees "I want the boots" He notes casually as he puts a hand on Leo's shoulder.

Before anyone else could react, especially Leo, Chris was tackled by a tiny yet strong elf who sent him flying.

"Memorials are useless, and ultimately mean nothing" Was matt's solemn reply , he seemed to not be entirely there for a moment "... Glad to see you alive though"

"I like to think honoring the passing of people you love isn't generally useless" Chris replies as he hugs her back tightly "Dying hurts by the way...like a lot"

Dev is like sobbing uncontrollably, deigning to never let Chris go ever again.

"Chris?" Leo stood in surprise, expression overjoyed as he joined the hug.

Matt is just staring into the distance having flashbacks, as he sips a drink

Chris hugs them both tight "Love you guys"

"I knew you'd come back," Leo said.

"So we know we respawn, that's handy" Matt said hugging chris

Chris nods "Yeah , that's good I really thought I was done for a little while" He replies with a smile as he strains to get his arm to wrap around Matt as well.

"I love you," Leo said

"Did you...did you feel me? Earlier?" Chris asks quietly.

"That was you?" He asked,

Chris ndods quietly as he puts his hand back to Leo's cheek.
