War of the forest

Eli nods and guards the rest of his chicken closely ,as he does not trust the little scamp.

Kari was slowly inching towards the chcken.

Eli gives her a glare as if to say 'I wouldn't'

Kari ignored his warning, before going to take a swipe at the chicken and run off with it.

Her paw is caught in Eli's mouth ,and while he doesn't bite down ,those dagger like teeth don't feel nice.

She gave a yelp, more due to being touched than actually hurt, and skittered away.

She can not as her paw is trapped between Eli's jaws ,which are closed just enough to not let her go ,but open enough to not really hurt her.

She gave a snarl, and bit at him. She squirmed, desperate to be let go of.

Eli doesn't even flinch ,his look saying 'apologize '

She snarled again, sinking her teeth into his leg in the hopes she'd be able to paralyse him and make off with the chicken.

She doesn't seem to realize that has literally made impossible for him to let her go , because he can't relax his muscles enough to open his mouth anymore....great job.

She clawed at his mouth and eventually tugged her paw out, before rushing off with the chicken to hide somewhere.

Finn who had missed all this came outside to sit on the porch and  drink some homemade tea

A few moments later Eli gets up with bloody murder in his eyes , dagger like teeth bared.

Kari was hiding curled up in a cupboard in the kitchen.

"What's up there?" finn asked when he saw the murderous wolf

Kari can nearly feel Eli's presence as he slowly strolls into the kitchen , his footfalls shaking the wooden floor.

Kari tucked herself closer into the cupboard, holding her breath as the ground trembled with his heavy feet.

The air seems to have gotten literally colder as he slowly stalks towards the cabinet and opens it , eyes gleaming .

She gave a little whimper, stuffing the remaining chicken in her mouth, and making to give a mad dash for it.

"Step back" finn very calmly said to the wolf who was in his house staring down his familiar, it was not a request.

Eli sighs and allows Kari to run before turning to look at Finn 'She swiped and bit at me several times ,than actually paralyzed me ' somehow he communicated all of that through body language ,I don't know how.

Finn proceeded to levitate kari when she reached the door so she couldn't get traction for running "Is this true?" He asked the levitating kari sternly as he met her eye

Eli walks in between them 'in her defense it was over chicken'

She gave a whimper as she was picked up by some unseen force. She just looked Finn in the eye, looking the epitome of innocence.
