The Forest at Night

It was a crescent moon night, a slight breeze blows through the forest shaking the leaves ever so slightly. Not many people walk into this area, at least not those who know the rumors of the Black Wolf who has taken this place as his territory. Only a fool would dare set foot here, even the forest was against those who disturbed its peace. A few bloody hand prints could be seen on some of the tree trunks, like something big had touched it after a bloody kill.

Wright had gone into the forrest to clear his head, truth be told he had no idea what he was going to do. Exiled from his home land in utter disgrace, nearly disowned by his family, and given only a small store front that was in serious need of repairs and basic start up equipment he was going to have to work his ass off to make this work. He was effectively building a bussiness from the ground up and frankly he was not prepared for the challenges he was going to face, and so he needed to clear his head and figure out where to begin with this massive project of getting a bussiness up and running in this city.

He would stumble upon a half-eaten deer, it seems it was ripped to shreds.

Well that was a sign he aught to get going now... he turned to leave the woods

The bushes rattled closeby, whatever it was had already gotten his scent as an odd colored glowy eyes could be seen in the dark. It stood up to 2 legs, a large black furred werewolf was there and it roared at him for walking in his territory.

He backed away putting up his hands "Easy there I was just leaving..."

The werewolf would stare at him, it would watch him leave and follow until he actually went outside the forest and disappeared into the distance. But as it moved it was obviously limping.

He left health potion of the forest border for it but still left

The werewolf would sniff it, it did it for a while. It then took it in his mouth and ran after the guy, it had his smell so the guy owned it. It was probably pretty scary having a big werewolf chase you...

"Magic missile!" He totatly freaked out and blasted it with a magic projectile as it charged

The werewolf dodged to the side, did a roll and with that turned to his human form shouting. "What the hell do you think you are doing!? You want me to kill you!?" He exclaimed a little angry and on the verge of just ripping the mage to pieces.

"You were charging me I freaked out!" He said in his defense, it's probably best the werewolf didn't call him a mage out loud

Mike then gave the potion back, he spoke. "You forgot your vile liquid bottle, I was returning it. But now that I am here, I might as well tell you something... I am seriously tired of seeing your pack members from this 'city forest' stroll to my territory uninvited! You already have a large territory to your own pack, all I need is a small one but you keep coming! Tell your pack not to ever come to my territory or else I will kill every last one that walks there. Got it!?" Mike said, he has never lived city life and he had the wrong idea what the city was and the people in it. Not that he was stupid, he was just generally uninformed and thought the citizens of the city were all one giant pack.

"I don't have a pack i'm new here" Trace explained and added "I left the potion because it will cure your limp, I allways carry a healing potion or two with me"

Mike stared at him silently for a short while, he then opened the bottle and took another smell of its contents. It did smell like healing herbs or something, with that he drank it and his leg got all better. "Hmmm... I usually handle my injuries myself but had no time, someone from here put a trap in my territory. I stepped on it and it bit me! What is wrong with people that live here?" Mike said continuing his complaints about the city folk.

"I don't really know I don't live around here" Trace shrugged as the wound healed up almost instantly "but if you ever need another bottle come by my shop" Trace offered him his card

Mike just took the card and looked at it, he then spoke. "Yeah sure, whatever dude... Maybe next time we will meet in better circumstances... Once I know you are not up to no good." Mike said as Trace was being awfully nice to him, it really sucks away the aggression from him.

Trace knew being a dick tended to cause problems while being nice solved them, so why not be nice? "I hope so too I'll see you around"

Mike would go back to his forest, Trace could see him transform into a werewolf and run back to the safety of the trees. They might meet again someday, depending if Mike will ever leave his forest again.

Tace returned to the shop where he lived

Mike went back to his forest, sleeping in a small cave huddle together as usual. He did not think he will meet that mage again, other people were annoying to deal with anyway. Though, tomorrow was going to be another day of chasing people out of his territory... Not that the mage would care, they barely had anything to help in these sorts of situations.
