Age of Discovery Rp

Twp teams are taken out after heated battles , all but the one two man squad facing the dragon , yet with a swipe only one man is left.

"This is barbaric" Rook murmured though he had to admit it was a bit exciting

"Ha!" Rin cried, a wild grin as she cheered on the dragon. "You don't know barbaric!"

The sole remaining champion stares down the dragon , his spear in hand as the massive beast glares down at him with it's red cold eyes.

Rook is routing for the guy

The crowd begins changing the single champions name as well as the dragon takes a lunge for him and he dodges , stabbing one of the beasts four eyes and eliciting a feral screech.

Rook is very immersed in watching this though he would never admit it

Rin cheered along with the crowd, switching to the man now that he seemed competent enough.

The dragon barrels forth right into the man , but he leaps onto his head and stabs for the soft feathered flesh of it's neck.

Rook was clearly on the edge of his seat

Rin near fell off her seat.

The dragon roars up into the air and shakes him off onto the ground , it then turns back around to finish him off.

"I've got five silvers on the dragon" Rook murmured to the elf

"Likewise on the man," she said, just because she was in the spirit of things and not because she had any money on her or anything.

The dragon ascends high into the air and then dives down at top speed mouth open to gobble the man up in a single blow. In an instant it has him and the crowd gasps , then the monsters maw reopens , the man pushing up for dear life as the dragon soars through the air with him in its maw. Then right as he begins to weaken , right as the jaw is about to snap down again , he grabs a short spear from a quiver on his back and stabs it deeply into the beasts' mouth , eliciting a wild scream . Then as the dragon screeches , he leaps out of it's mouth , grabbing onto a feather in mid air , and begins climbing up into the dragon's back. Spear still in hand he makes it to the base of the dragons neck , and stabs deeply with his obsidian spear , twisting the blade along the way. The dragon screeches terribly , it's cry ringing in the ears of everyone here as it falls out of the air and comes crashing down , the man managing to leap off at a safe height to avoid getting crumpled in the crash.

Rin raised her arms in victory along with a cry of joy. "Ha!" She grinned, pushing Rook's shoulder. "Five silvers if you please."

Rook grumbled and dug a  hand into a pocket of his robe, producing five silvers for her

"Pleasure doing business with you," she said with a self satisfied smile as she pocketed the coins.

"Yeah, yeah" he grumbled back

The champion lets out a wild yell as he stands over his defeated opponent., And the crowd cheers loudly , as the other beasts are ushered back to their cages , and the walls that had split up the pit go back into the ground.

She grinned. "I'm glad he one, I didn't have any money on me."

and then it was time to move the plot along

The Next Morning

Everyone is woken up by the sound of an incredibly loud drum from the center of the house they're all staying at.

Rook rolled out of whatever they had ended up sleeping in, probably some sort of bed but you never know with these kinds of cultures
