Amos hopped into the boat, making sure everyone was here and they would be ready to row to the land.

Everyone is , it's time to go.

Amos started to row, he kept rowing until they hit land and it was time to move. "Okay, is everyone ready for a little adventure?" He wondered as he looked at the jungle.

"Absolutely" The Doctor said, he was likely going to have to carry this team if they got int to a fight , most of the skilled fighters were killed or carried off

In the distdistance the crew sees a few decrepit ruins , overrun by verdant jungle and vines.

Amos sees the ruins, he starts to lead the group towards it.

Rookwood is very interested in the ruins, perhaps it will hold the secrets of why the people here are such tools

At first there isn't much to see , only some broken pottery every once and a while , and a few small animals skittering around the decrepit cobblestone pathways that snake their way through the jungle.

"And the mystery continues" Rookwood murmured to himself

Elian bounded ahead, exploring the runes and foliage like a curious little monkey.

Elian finds a large climbable pillar that towers over the trees , perhaps it could give her a better vantage point.

Rock wood runs across a large section of broken wall that is covered in hieroglyphs , and for some reason he gets the urge touch it.

Doctor rookwood touches it against his better judgement

Elian scuttled up the pillar, perched herself on the top of it and stared out at the world.

Immediately images begin to flash in Rookwood's head ,images of burning cities , dragons screaming through the air only to be reduced to dust , and of a deathly thin man with a a skull mask and feathered headdress. The images then stop for a moment .

For miles around Elian sees jungle , until her eyes catch on several pyramids within the rainforest .

"Interesting..." rookwood cast a spell to see what sort of magic lingered here

Elian squinted at the pyramids. She then slid down the pillar. "There are..." She searched for the right word in that tongue. "Triangles... In the earth."

It seems to be a sort of archival spell that stores knowledge in certain objects , nothing of the like has been seen in the old world.

Rookwood used a second spell to see if he could track down more of this magic

It seems to be on several other crumbling walls and moss covered bricks , perhaps these walls were used to tell visitors the story of an ancient event back when the island was populated.

"I'm going to go check out the magic in this place" Rookwood called back to his crewmates

Rookwood sees a pair of eyes looking out at him from some nearby heavy brush , as soon as their gaze meets his whatever the thing is rushes back into the brush .

Rookwood followed after it, looking for prints

They seem to lead further and further into the rainforest , so it may be a trap.
