The Plan Against Matthew

Chris tenses , slowly but surely getting into a fighting stance as he eyes begin to glow bright green.

Kai was pleased by the action, he chuckled at what happened.

Devi, being stronger than the angel, resisted her attempts at slamming her into the ground, and grabbed at where she expected her throat to be.

Chris takes this chance to dash for Kai , adrenaline beginning to pump through him as the tattoos on his arms begin glowing as well.

Devi jerked her arm away when she felt the stinging slice. She let out a hiss, a completely animalistic, before she dove at the woman in an attempt to knock her down and pin her to the ground.

Devi could feel the shifting of the air as Nakita sent her foot flying towards her face. Although she wasn't sure what it was, she grabbed it, and swung before letting her go flying away.

Kai was growing bored of this, he ordered Nakita in her mind to back off into the darkness so she could not attack her. "You should stop, it isn't helping your cause..." He said simply.

"Where are you going?" Devi demanded, following the sounds of Nakita's footsteps and breathing. "You scared?"

Kai chuckled. "Well maybe you should answer that question yourself?" As pairs if eyes started appearing all around them, different sizes, colors and shapes, all staring at them.

"Coward!" She screamed at Nakita, and broke into a sprint despite no longer knowing where the woman was. She skidded to a stop, at the man's voice and the eyes that appeared in the darkness. She felt suddenly vulnerable, with all the gazes on her. "Chris?" She called, as she had no idea where he had gone.

Chris turns to her , his glowing eyes and tattoos marking his location.

Devi ran up to him when she spotted him. "Chris, are you okay?" She asked worriedly.

He nods, is voice coming out in a monotone "As fine as one could be in such a place, where's the prey...did they escape?"

Kai spoke more. "Do you see how futile your efforts are? Just let us bind you for now, then we will go barter with the Wingless Angel. Doesn't that sound appealing?" He asked them.

"You're going to die" Chris replies in a monotone as he locks eyes with Kai.

"I concur." Devi nodded.

kai only smirked at that, these people were fools. "You really think that you can beat me?" He asked them in a confident tone.

Chris only responds with "Try me"

"Uh, yeah, it's why we said it," She said, before shouting: "And you can go fuck a cactus!" At the woman who spoke. Devi then proceeded to charge at the man out of anger.
