The Plan Against Matthew

Kai had studied Matthew for a while now, those friends he had in the inn were probably valuable to him so they would be a great meat shield. Kai had stalked Matthew's friends Devi and Chris to see when they would be together and not with Matthew, Kai was not gonna go after Acheron since the guy was hard to find and he spend a lot of time at the inn which was way too public for him. Kai had ordered Nakita to help him once the two of them were all alone, then they would strike.

It wouldn't be too difficult to find Chris and Devi alone, because they did spent a lot of time at each other's sides. Devi was currently trying to get Chris to listen to the Hamilton soundtrack, because it's amazing and everyone's ears should have the pleasure of listening to it.

Chris was trying to beg his way out,since Devi was basically holding him hostage right now and he wasn't very keen on that.

As they were alone, Kai walked out of a dark alleyway his lavender eyes glowing slightly and with a smirk on his face. Nakita shouldn't be far...

"No, but it's so goood," Devi said, blissfully unaware they were being targeted.

Kai nodded as he Nakita was there, it was time to move. Kai would ominously start following Devi and Chris, at a walking speed that he would catch up to them.

Chris begins to whistle the tune to 'Just beat it' as they walk.

Devi purposely bumped into him, before flashing him a mischievous smile. "You will like it... some day, I will get you to like it!" She cried dramatically. She had no cause for concern at the footsteps pursuing them, because well they were outside and there were a lot of footsteps she could hear.

But if Devi and Chris did not pay attention to their surroundings they would soon find themselves in Hell, in a very dark section of it. There was nothing to be seen...

Chris raises a brow at that looking unimpressed "Sure Dev , you do know different people have different tastes right"

"People who don't like it are wrong," She replied, before she grabbed his arm as everything turned to darkness. "Chris?" Her voice had become rather panicked.

Chris quickly grabs onto her as well, he can't see anything so this isn't regular darkness, this is magic "Alright obviously someone's planning on attacking us, probably one of Matt's enemies or something"

"Yeah..." She murmured, trying to rely on the senses she has other than her eyesight.

kai had opened a gate for them to go through to the part of Hell that his Demon Lord rules over, it was so dark that you couldn't see where you were standing, if the place was large or small, if they were inside a building or not. Kai's lavender eyes glowed in the darkness as he could be heard letting out a small chuckle.

Devi's eyes focused on the only thing she could see: a pair of eerie glowing purple eyes. It was a rather pretty colour of purple, too. But this thought fled her mind as a chuckle came from that direction. "Who's there?" She asked, pulling Chris behind her.

Kai was walking slowly around them as the complete darkness handicapped them, he spoke. "You had the unfortunate fate of being friends with the 'Wingeless Angel' named Matthew, I brought you here as an bartering item to get what I want. Sounds exciting does it not?" He asked as he continued circling them.

"Oh, yes I'm having the time of my life," Devi replied dryly, turning to keep her eyes on him as he circled them.

Kai spoke more. "You see... He is in the way of my plans, he is a risk that I cannot allow to continue exist. He must be subdued so he won't be able to get in my way in any turn, you two are the key doing so. But if you need to ask, no, I am not threatening to kill you... I will only keep you as my quests for some time until Matthew gives in, but if he decides to abandon you instead I will make you the slaves of my desires." Kai explained to them, he kept walking around.

"You're.... You weren't loved enough as a kid, were you?" Devi said, making a face. He was the epitome of insane. He wasn't gonna get them that easily. Devi let go of Chris, and dove at the glowing eyes man.

Devi grunted, unable to dodge as the punch came out of no where. She grabbed the attacker's arm, in the hopes of pulling the person towards her.
