Violet lost all her strength and eventually her breathing slowed and her heart beat faintly.

Matthew frantically attempts to put pressure on the wound and stop the bleeding

Matt abruptly gets tackled by a vampiric bat monster, which screeches in his face.

matthew immediately unloads his pistol into its chest, having made sure to keep his gun hand from being pinned

"GODDAMNIT!" Matthew shouted as he saw that vi had fallen he went over to her lifeless body

"Violet?" She whispered, rushing over to her and and Matt. She blinked at all the blood. Oh, God there was so much blood. Is it too late? Is she... Devi could hear no heartbeat, she couldn't see the rise and fall of her chest to prove she was breathing. "Why... why could you not have teleported to the hospital again" she said very carefully, without bothering to look at Matt, so he wouldn't see the anger in her eyes.

"DO you think this Shit runs on batteries!?" Matthew shouted at devi, he had teleported all around all day and his was strained ability, and wasn't up for long range teleportation. Not to mention he hadn't even known she was bleeding so badly, but he wasn't thinking about it as he shouted back "WHY THE HELL WAS IT THE ONLY ONE WATCHING HER BACK!" he shouted in a manner worthy of capslock. Instead of getting Sad he got angry, but as he felt rage fill him he heard the words of his father 'Don't get mad get even" As he recalled the sage advice MAtthew rose to his feet with a pistol in each hand

"There was a life on the life!" She yelled back, all hint of humour disappeared. "Could you not have suffered through one more goddamn teleportation to fucking save your friend!?"

"One teleportation!? Try fifteen A block or so is like max range, and no i couldn't have made it, i'd not have made it" He said blasting away at vampires with his pistols

"You could have tried!" She screamed at him, punching one of the vampires in its stupid fucking face and tossing him across the room.

'Yes I could have tried, And killed us both after attempt two or three, you could have tried the dig your way to a Chinese hospital but you didn't because it's not possible and fucking stupid! Where the hell were you when she was attacked huh!? Fucking dozing off as you killed vamps!?" Matthew threw some blame back at her as he blew a vamps head off

"What the fuck could I have done that you didn't?!" She yelled, chucking a chair at a vampire across the room. He went down like a sack of potatoes.

"Something!" He shouted forming his sword and cutting off the head of another vampire

"It's too fucking late now!" She cried, punching a vampire in the stomach and kicking him to the ground.

"Then shut up about it! and let's kill vamps!" Matthew shouted, shooting the one she kicked to the ground

"That was my one!" She yelled, elbowing another vampire in the face hard enough to crack teeth.

"HEY!!, What the hell are you two talking about?! " A familiar voice questions as Chris jogs over looking worried "Where's Vi...she...she's not?"

Devi looked up at Chris when he approached them, a hint of guilt in her eyes. She didn't reply, she just looked behind her at Violet's prone form.
