No Man's Land

"If cap is such a good tactician then how come he spent all his time off searching for his boyfriend instead of say , Hulk, or fucking Thor?" Chris replies quickly turning to see whatever it is. About seven ninjas are ninja posing on a nearby rooftop.

"Because he's known bucky longer than any one of the avengers and  cares about him more." Matthew said plainly as he lso tuned to fave the ninjas it was logical he would "And because bucky needs his help more"

"Yeah but the Hulk could decide to go rampage and then thousands of lives are lost because Cap wants his boyfriend back , well sorry cap but the well being of the human race is a bit more important than your love life " Chris retorts rolling his eyes as the vampires pounce down towards the group.

"Nothing is more important than my love life." Matthew darted away frrom chris and engaged one of the vampires with his blade, his enhanced afility allowing him to keep up with it speed wise

The vampire blocks the strike and leaps over Matt, kicking him square in the back while in mid-air . "I think your taking this Cap fan thing to far , I was talking about Steve not you " Chris replies as he dodges a few punches from a vampire ninja.

(wait for the others?)

"Uuh... What?" Devi asked, face contorted in confusion at the appearance of the... ninjas?. The fact she seemed to be the only one questioning them too made her even more confused. She ducked a blow from one of them, and kicked one of her legs out in order to trip him out.

Matthew quickly teleported behind the vamp he is fencing and cuts off its head "Vampire ninjas from the way  they move" he said

Another vampire lunges at Matt from behind ,cutting him open .

Matthew falls over when the blade opens up his back but forms an AA12 in his hand and smokes the vampire that slashed him

(So how is chris doing better against one of these guys in hand to hand than delta that's bugging the hell out of me)

(Delta was fighting the leader of that particular contingent ,an elite...Chris is just fighting a grunt )

"You know for vampire ninjas these guys are way less cool than you'd expect "Chris says as he's promptly punched in the face "Okay I deserved that"

Matthew stood up and formed full angelic armor around himself

Chris activates his snake aura and leaps on the ninja putting him into an immensely tight full nelson hold and then biting into his neck with acidic venom.

Acheron stands on a rooftop watching the fight as he has been ordered to intervene.

Acheron makes his way down quickly in his shadow form as he extends a shadow claw to push Chris off the vampire and another claw to try an strike Matthew down.

Matthew teleports back out of range as he saw his friend atack "Acheron what the hell!?" he shouted

Chris's eyes widen as he tries to get away from the shadows but can't seem to escape the vice grip "Dammit , I need better powers!"

Devi sort of danced about, unwilling to kill someone yet she also wished to assist her friends. She went up behind one of the vampires, performing a powerful kick to the back of the knee to down him before wrapping one arm around his throat, and with a loud crack that reverberated through Devi's very bones, she broke the vampires neck. Oh, sweet jesus, I killed him. He's dead. I killed him. His limp body fell from her grasp, as she blinked rapidly in shock at what she had done. Nope, can't dwell on it now. Her gaze focused on Matt and Chris, brows furrowed in confusion at the shadows that seemed to be coming alive.

Acheron revealed himself as he rose from the shadow on the ground, he looked at Matthew and spoke. "You have been ordered to be eliminated, I was sent since these ones didn't seem to be able to get the job done so here I am..." He sinks back into the shadows as another shadow claw tries to strike Matthew from behind.
