Framed and Escape

And then there is a firm knock on the door "Open up! We have a warrant!"

Blaise just panics a little on the inside, he leaves the rest of the wound wrapping to the guy as he goes to open the door to the cops.

"Mr. Blaise Morin , you have been implicated as the main suspect in the murder of one Victor Lorenzo , and you're under arrest!" A voice declares as he nears the door "Come out now with your hands up!"

Blaise did not even get to open the door, he panics on the inside as he has no idea what the cops are talking about. Should he just do as they say? Or escape? Law is not really that favorable to supernaturals... Blaise tries to quickly think on what to do, his confusion and panic was obvious.

Acchillios has already hopped out of the window and is running.

Blaise turns to look at the guy and he does the same, he runs away as fast as he can not ready to be arrested for murder. But what now? How us he gonna prove his innocence? Why did he even run away, he looks more guilty now... Blaise wished Ezrune was here, but the guy was gone in another country.

"No time to think just run!" The magician declares as he sprints down the alley and out into the busy sidewalk.

Blaise follows the guy, but Blaise was worried if this was the right choice. Where were the even going?

Acchilios pants a bit , still recovering from the shock of the shooting ordeal "Suppose we can't call the police huh?"

Blaise speaks. "Guess not but I swear I have no idea what they were saying! I didn't murder anyone!" Blaise says in his defense.

"You sure? Not even a little murder? Not even a tad?" He asks , trying to keep light hearted so he doesn't hyperventilate.

Blaise speaks more. "I did not murder anyone! Oh what am I gonna do...? The police will just be after me since I took off, they will use lethal force next time..." Blaise says as he falls into desperation.

"Well then we should try and get out of the city , I've been seen entering your house I'm an accomplice now"

Blaise sighs and speaks. "Yeah, I guess... I don't know what is going on but I am sorry for dragging you in it, we should keep moving I suppose." Blaise says as they probably should move to another place entirely, though Blaise was saddened that he would have to leave his friends and all here.

He nods , wiping his nose "We'll stop by my place" He decides as he gets jogging.

Blaise follows him by keeping pace with the guys jogging, he speaks. "If you say so, man, I really feel like smoking some weed right about now..." Blaise slightly laments as his stash was left at home and he was stressed right now, guess he has to manage.

"We'll get over it" He replies , voice going harsh.

Blaise just follows, he was not used tot his jogging around and avoiding any cops.

After a stressful run filled with many close calls and nail biting moments evading the cops they finally make it to the magician's apartment complex where his light blue sleek hoverbike sits "You stay here and watch the bike , I need to grab some things yes?"

Blaise gave a single nod, he stays at the hoverbike thing and looks at the peculiar thing. Blaise uses the time to try process what happened that day, he was just enjoying his time at the local burger joint and then suddenly a thug starts shooting everybody down and when in his supposedly safe home the cops came knocking talking about murder. It has been a rough night...

"Oh poor little demon, such a rough night for you , such a hard life really , it's not fair is it?" A soft silky voice asks, a chill running up the demon's body as it floats out of the darkness , the streetlamp across from him suddenly flickering off , followed by another , and another.

Blaise got creeped out by the sudden voice, he also got increasingly more nervous as the lights started to flicker off one by one. Was this gonna be the end of him Blaise thought, die in a horror movie way?

 "But don't worry little demon , The Beast is here , The Beast can help , for if life is such a burden , why live at all?" The voice asks .

Blaise backs off a little and speaks, a hint of fear in his voice. "Hold on just a moment! First of all, your 'help' sounds more like you would end me. Second I am not entirely a demon, I am half-human, see...? So ummm, how about you go somewhere else for now...?" Blaise said, he was freaked out by the other demon and Blaise has the impression of himself that he would be anything but a normal person despite his demon power so someone with better grasp of their power and having combat training would beat him up easily.

"It matters not little demon , I want you to be open minded about my offer " It replies calmly.
