The Search for Manalaya

"You're going to have more scars in a minute!" Lysander threatens angrily

Epona quickly steps in between them, her arms straight out. "Nobody's fighting here!" she shouts before turning towards Manalaya. "You wouldn't risk getting injured over an argument, now would you?" she asked her.

Manalaya's eyes widened at the sight of the princess. "Princess!" she exclaimed before she growled savagely at Lysander before shifting into her original form. "This isn't over." she said coldly before sprinting off towards the Tomb of Kings, which stands a little ways outside of the town. She had to leap over citizens to avoid running over them.

"You're damn right it isn't !!!" Lysander yells after her disregarding yhe princess and heading after her

Epona's eyes widen. "Wait! You'll never keep up with her!" she shouted after him desperately. She tried running after him but after nearly falling forward, she slows down.

Manalaya looked back only once before she went into the Tomb of Kings. Lets see if you can pass all the booby-traps and puzzles, you mother ****er! she thought to herself, snickering evilly.

Lysander stops for a second then nods seeing the reasoning behind her statement he sees there is only one logical course of action. Build a golem army and lay siege to the the tomb of kings "Is there a place around here I can buy clay and stone?" then a thought occurs to him "Wait did she call you princess?"

Epona finally caught up with him she was panting for air. Once she had caught her breath she looked him in the face and she nodded at his second question. "Yes, I'm Princess Epona. I'm the only Princess of this Clan!" she said before she turned her head and faced the direction of the Tomb of Kings. "Manalaya's never acted this way before towards anyone! If you know what's best for you, I'd refrain from trying to harm her! She's more skilled than you think she is! She'll probably remain inside the Tomb of Kings! Even if you manage to get past the first few puzzles and booby-traps, the ones remaining keep on getting harder to solve! Most grave-robbers have died before even reaching half way to the first royal chambers!" she explained to him.

Manalaya laid down in the last royal chamber, her nine tails individually swishing from side to side. "How dare he call me a liar! I've lived longer than he has and this is the respect I GET?! Who does HE think HE IS?!" she growled to herself.

Lysander nods still deep in thought he thinks he understands what the princess is getting at "So what you're saying your grace I need to raise an army of stone monsters and destroy the tomb...." The young wizard asks clearly what he perceived as her plan made perfect sense, but where would he get the allies and stone to pull something like that off? "With all do respect your grace i'm not sure I have the resources to pull something like that off...."

Epona's eyes widen before she quickly shook her head. "No! The Tomb of Kings will make every citizen of both Clans come after you and try to kill you! Your army will be no match for our combined armies! Please, I beg you not to try and fight her! There's a much less destructive, easier way of getting past all the booby-traps and puzzles! I know the code that deactivates all of them! But I WILL NOT TELL YOU unless you promise not to use it against us and harm Manalaya!" she said, narrowing her eyes.

Lysander sighs and gives a nod "Fine I promise I will not hurt her in any way" He says with his fingers crossed behind his back

(Does his fingers crossed behind his back mean he doesn't mean to keep the promise?)

Epona eyed him suspiciously before she sighed deeply. "Come on, we're going to the Tomb of Kings." she said before she started walking in that direction.

Manalaya was currently unaware of the promise and thought there was no way he'd get past to her.

(is the universal symbol for lying)

"Thank you " Lysander says and follows her

Once they reach the outside of the Tomb of Kings, Epona opens a small door and inside is a small hole and a lever. She takes off a ring from her one finger and holds it, showing it to him. "The booby-traps and puzzles always know when it's Manalaya, but they don't know anyone else. They have sensors that can detect if it's her or somebody else, but this ring that all members of the royal family have can deactivate them." she said before she pushed the key into the small hole and turned the lever downwards. She then looked inside the Tomb of Kings. The fire trap that was constantly blowing fire from both sides of the hallway stopped immediately. She turned back towards him and handed him the ring. "You better not break that promise!" she said before she started walking off.

Manalaya blinked as she sensed something was wrong. She stood up and growled.

Lysander took the ring an nodded "Thank you princess, if there's anything I can do for you let me know"

Epona sighed deeply. "Yeah, sure." she said before she disappeared from view.

Manalaya growled savagely. Something wrong here! she thought to herself.

"Poke" Lysander says poking her in the back of the head a minute later

Manalaya growled and stepped away from him. "Leave me alone!" she growled.

Lysander shakes his head "You shall be poked until I know what happened, who you are and what this world is called"

Manalaya snarled at him. "I already told you what happened, you didn't believe me! I'm Manalaya! The guardian of this Tomb!" she shouted at him in response.

"I still don't believe you, I've come too far to believe that" Lysander says looking down in sorrow and dissapointment

Manalaya snorted. "You want proof of what I said?! Is that what you're saying?!" she asked him, growling furiously.

(This is kinda anti climactic)

(What does that mean?)

(It just feels like everything is getting resolved too quickly)

"Yes" Lysander says firmly not expecting her to have any because there's no way his master would do that

Manalaya growled before she snapped her jaws feet from him. "You'll have to fight for it! I don't just show mere mortals!" she snarled at him. "Fight me, you whimpering pig!" she added in another snarl.

(I'm thinking he wounds her really badly that she might die so he's forced to heal her or else he'll never learn the truth.....what do you think?)

'Lysander blasts her in the face with a lightning bolt as powerful as he can
