The Search for Manalaya

Manalaya sighed deeply. "It's nothing, it's just the wounds acting up a little." she said.

"Do you need like a giant bottle of Neosporin?" Lysander asks trying to get a look at the wound with some concern

Manalaya stopped. "Is the sword enchanted or something?!" she growled angrily towards Jager.

Jager looked down at the ground before nodding slowly.

"Jager what is it enchanted with and why didn't you mention it earlier?" Lysander demands

Jager thought about it. "I don't know, it was either fire or something else." he said.

Manalaya growled louder. "What else?" she asked him.

Jager sighed. "Poison." he said.

"It was the second" Lysander says "If it was fire I wouldn't nave needed to cauterize the wound"

Manalaya growled savagely. "I knew I should've bitten your head off when I had the chance!" she snarled. "Now I'm ****ing poisoned!" she said.

Jager sighed. "I might have an antidote on me!" he said, reaching for his pockets.

"We'll get you cured" Lysander asures her gently "What kind of poison?"

(I take it you're waiting on Koyu?)

Manalaya sat down. "I hate traders." she snorted.

Jager thought again. "I think it might kill her if we don't cure it soon." he said.

Lysander just nods "Jager I need a name or at least the affects that lead to death"

(I can't think of a name, so don't hate me! XD)

Jager groans while thinking. "Runs through the blood and will weaken its victim until they die." he said finally.

Manalaya started panting. "Yeah, I think it's starting to work on me." she said.

Lysander begins to take out some potion making ingredients from his bag "Just stay calm the faster your heart beats the faster it will take affect, it may be Redsbane but that's just a shot in the dark"

Manalaya breathed deeper. "I'll try to." she said.

Jager thought about the type of poison. "I think it is Redsbane." he said.

"So what i'm going to do is try to counter act it with a potion of strength and let it run its course" Lysander explains cheerfully "Your kitsune metabolism should enable it to take affect very quickly"

Jager just nods. "Yeah, but I think we better hurry, she looks like it's starting to take its toll on her." he said, looking at Manalaya.

Manalaya's eyes looked droopy. Her breathing was a lot slower.

Lysander soon has a liquid potion in a huge needle with which he injects her in the eye

(Why the eye?! O.O)

Manalaya roared in pain. "Was that really ****ing necessary?!" she growled.

Jager winced as he saw it.

"Yes, actually in a kitsune it's the best place to inject them so it quickly takes affect" Lysander explains "I've dissected one or two in their sleep and put them back together before they woke up I'm quite familiar with their anatomy"

Jager gulped nervously.

Manalaya growled. "Just remember who you're talking to. I might have lost my eye with this!" she growled in response. The potion started taking affect and she looked less weaker now.

Lysander sighs "I was just trying to help"

Manalaya sighed and laid down. "I think your potion's working." she said.

Jager looked rather worried. "I'm sorry, I should've told you it was enchanted." he said apologetically.

Lysander lays down on the giant foxes back "Well I see you're back to your grumpy self"

Manalaya growled. "You think so?" she asked him.
