A cursed week

{This is just the worst fucking week} He thinks to himself as he falls to the ground , though his bones shake with panic.

Then begins a seizure, it is quite lous , foam comes from his mouth and blood from his eyes, soon he is being hauled off to the hospital in a coma like the other victims.

{Yep...this fucking sucks} He concludes as he falls into the coma.

"SON OF A BITCH!" James's shout rang out through the house loud enough to ruin everyone's sleep but that wan't new there was a lot of shouting in the house, that's why most of the senior witches in the house had noise prooofed rooms. James had just received a text from candie's parents that his friend had been taken to a hospital bleeding out the eyes and foaming from the mouth, he and esther were about to have ords, he was going to find out what had happened to his friend if he had to go all liam neeson, and start neck chopping eastern europeans all over the place.

Vicky's head pops through his door , black eyeliner shrouded eyes narrowed "The hell's your problem?" She asks drowsily.

Esther near had a heart attack at James' shout.

"Candie is in the hospital, looks like watever it was that happened to all tose kids at school." James who had been downstairs doing some late night magic studying one curses and how to keep them at bay called back to his sister. And headed to get esther

"Oh shit" Vicky replies with a small frown "You still haven't figure this out huh?"

"No, Esther knows but she hasn't been talking" James replied and crossed his arms when he got to Esther's room. "My best friend is in a coma, are you ready to talk?" he asked bluntly

"It happened to Candy?" She asked in surprise.

"Yep" Vicky replies with a nod , glaring straight at Essy with no small amount of disdain.

Esther felt herself burning under Vicky's glare, shame rising in her gut and she looked away.

James looked at her with eyes gone cold "You're going to tell me everything you know for the sake of my friend, the question is, do you want to do it the easy way or the hard way?"

Surprise made her catch James' gaze; fear kept her eyes locked on his. "What's the hard way?" Even to her, her voice sounded too quiet.

"You're about to find out" James said with a steely glare "One way or another you're going to tell me what I want to know. No more games."

"Um," She said eventually, deflating. "Okay." She took a deep breath, as if steeling herself for it. "Me and a, um, friend plotted to take revenge on all of the bullies. It was his idea, he convinced me, but I was angry so it wasn't hard to. He was more angry than me, and a bit, um, I guess you could say sociopathic. He found that book, that curse book in your aunt's store, and wanted me to buy it." She loosed a sigh, staring at her hands. "I didn't know he would try to kill them, I thought he would just.. prank them or something. I wouldn't have done it if I knew. I didn't give it to him though. I just assume he has it. I died before I could, but I couldn't find it where I had left it when I returned. And before you ask, I don't know how I died. I think it looked like a suicide. It wasn't though."

"Does this friend have a name?" James asked her with a nod as he listened

She began fidgeting, unwilling to say.

"If I can't get this object away from them, and break the curse on my own I'll have to call the sherriff about it" H esaid holding up a voice recorder in his pocket, the sherrif as of corse a werewold and a big mean looking one at that

"You recorded me?" She asked in surprise.

"Esther I will do whatever it takes to make sure my fiend is safe, and I'm tryong to work with you here, you don't want to know what my sister would do if i wasn't standing between you" James said calmly "Now give me a name and I'll go clear this up"

"He's my friend, I don't want to, um..." she began rather pathetically.

"So i'm not going to hurt him, but if the sherriff finds him he's going to disapear...." James said and asked esther "Do you think with holding information from me is protecting him, because you're wrong... the sherrif will find him if this keeps up

She ran her fingers through her hair, with a sigh. "You know that guy Samuel who everyone jokes will shoot up the school?" She asked. Esther and him had only been friends a couple of months, but it was nearly common knowledge that Esther fancied him; a rumour spread by Samuel himself, and Esther had spent nearly every day trying to say she didn't. It wasn't a very good friendship, but Esther had been to desperate for a friend to really pay attention to that.
