Lands of the Moon and sun

When the lands of Riven were first conceived by the almighty one, it placed upon its creation three immortal guardians who took the form of humans. The first was gifted with power, strength, and leadership the patron of warriors, and kings. The second was gifted with skill, intelligence, and caution The patron of most mages, and scholars. The first two were as gods, perfect beings. The third was an imperfect being unlike the other two tainted as a human is tainted with selfishness and self doubt ; from his imperfections his gifts developed, willpower, cleverness and empathy he was the patron of fools, and rebels. For centuries the three protected riven from internal and external chaos. They were like siblings, until for unknown reasons the imperfect one murdered his brother the Avatar of power in a great battle that destroyed the old capitol . As retribution he was stripped of his power. The Avatar of skill surrendered her power in grief leaving the world of riven undefended. Riven eventually became a land of strange forces celestial and magical. With various” gods”

So let's keep this short Riven is a fantasy land in which the native humans are very directly ruled by celestial beings worshiped as gods. Some rule with kindness and all that good stuff ,others are tyrants but universally humanity has lost control of its fate. let's role with it from there

Background: A renowned and powerful thane of the Burnskins , his skin is dotted with the many brands and tattoos bestowed upon him for his many worthy deeds , he has killed wingless fire drakes , troll chiefs , ogre Greasemasters , giants and countless others. Right now he resides in Kurtal Khazid collaborating on a new prototype "fire axe"

Warlocks are hunted individuals considered by the celestial rulers of Riven to be the worst criminals imaginable, for in the mind of most celestials it is a human's duty to serve them, yet warlocks bind celestials to serve them with obscure and distrusted magics

Background: Half cousin of MorThorion and legendary bard , Findar travels the land on a never ending world tour in search of good mead , adventure, and someone to tell his stories to.

Equipment: Leather armor, a short sword and a dagger on his belt that are made from a rare yet powerful magic metal apparently.
Appearance: Very long black hair braded at the back, yellow eyes and his pupil can change into a slit, slim but decently muscular, his upper body is that of a young man and lower body all the way from the waist is a long snake's lower body with dark green scales and a grey underbelly and there is a golden ring around the tip of his tail.
Background: He has trouble remembering all the details, he remembers that he was a warrior of some sort and fought against many things until he for some reason or another retreated to a dark grave to sleep many years away and he is still there sleeping under a thick blanket.

It was a small village in the dark elven nation not poor, but certainly not wealthy either; the kind of village the capitol and the goods who controlled it did not have a single care for, and that suited Warrick just fine. As a Warlock he was public enemy number one to the ruling gods of any nation he arrived in, save for perhaps some of the Dwarven nations as the deep gods were less meddlesome than the gods and god kings of the surface. Still in a village like this guarded only by the local militia with no real devotion or loyalty to their gods he would be seen only as a traveling mage, no one would bother looking into his story further. Villages like these kept warlocks like Warrick alive as they were one of the very few places he could stop in buy supplies from the locals and even stay a night at the inn were he so inclined... usually anyway. With that thought Warrick decided he could go for a light drink and headed in to the local inn and tavern for a glass of whatever it is darkelves like to drink.

In that tavern was a young man at one of the tables, he was drinking something and acted like a customer but what made him stand out from the others was the fact that his lower body was that of a snake. He was examining a map at the table as well...

This caught Warrick's eye as he had a seat and ordered their most popular drink from a nearby table, he could use a celestial servant and this one didnt seem too powerful... he just needed to get them alone

Lateef scratched his head as he looked at the map, he was trying to decide which way he should travel next? The world was huge and even this map did not over the majority of it, he would have to get new maps as he goes apparently... As venturing from place to place while tackling down obstacles in a fight seemed the way for him, or that is what he thinks.

Findaron trots down the dark path towards the in on horseback , humming s happy tune under his breath.

Warrick stealthily watched the celestial he intended to ambush and bind

Lateef rolls the map tightly and puts it away, he uses the time to finish his drink for now and enjoy the inn's atmosphere.

Findaron hops of his horse and strolls into the inn chipperly .

The in is somewhat dark it being night time, and rustic feeling, Warrick meanwhile is trying a dark elven drink

Findaron quickly orders *insert alcoholic beverage here* and takes a seat near the fireplace.

Warrick took out a book to read

Lateef's attention shifted into the man who walked in, just another person here for the inn. Lateef focuses back to his drink, taking sip after sip until the glass was empty.

Warrick had no real reason to do anything right now

Lateef had finished his drink, he started slithering away outside.

The warlock closed his book and got up to follow

Lateef was going to go out of town, he wanted to know if there was any herbs growing outside of it so he can collect them and take into his nest.

This was absolutely perfect, no one was around to spot him or get in his way... The Warlock began his spell when they were well out of town and burning yellow cords shot from the ground wrapping around the celestial binding his body and arms

Lateef was just minding his own business at the area looking for different herbs when he got a surprise shock when the yellow cords appeared on the ground and bound his arms and body. Lateef tried to struggle, trying to use his physical strength to break them as he was panicked not knowing what they were.

It would take more than physical strength to break these cords, warrick walked out into the open chanting a spell that would seal the celestial into his service
