Darion's First Full Moon

Darion has etched closer to James and his friends through the month, it was probably best to have friends like them that were too hiding their true nature from others. Tonight was going to be a full moon so Darion went to ask James when will they meet and other instructions trusting that James know how to deal with this?

It was after school and James was getting a soda from the school's vending machine

Darion walked over saying hi to James and spoke. "Hey so, it is gonna be full moon tonight and truth is... I am pretty nervous, you promised to help me out so there won't be any accidents... So, when should we meet and what should I do?" Darion asked him, waiting for an answer.

"Oh yeah my family has a werewolf cage in the du...basement... or six..." James said, he knew how weird that sounded

Darion nodded not sure what to think of James's sudden change of wording and spoke. "O...kay... So, you can lock me up for the night so no one gets hurt? That's a relief..." Darion says, he too uses the vending machine to buy a bubbly drink for his nerves.

James offered hime soda he just got "Relax man what could go wrong?"

Darion thanks him for the soda and takes a sip, then speaks. "I hope nothing goes wrong, I'm still new to this... I don't know what to expect, so I am nervous and afraid. It is absurd that me, a hard working student suddenly turns into a hairy beast. Anyway, I just have to trust you, and thanks." Darion says drinking more soda.

James gets himself a new soda "You'll be able to control it in time, and come on you've had chicks all over you don't talk about it like it's such a curse." He was interupted by someone whrowing a frisbee nearby

Darion just sighs and speaks. "Look, I am focusing on more important things right now than girls, how can I focus on girls when I am afraid of the new me? I have yet to accept my situation, because I just fear it..." Darion says, he was more afraid of this than actually grasping the benefits of it.

"Whoa whoa whoa, let's not get crazzy here" James held up a hand signaling for him to take it down a notch when Darion implied his condition was more important than the ladies

Darion just leaned his head slightly backwards when James said that, he then spoke. "Ummm, what? Is there something wrong?" Darion asked James, not sure what he was implying.

"Having super powers is not the end od of the world, don't go all superman vs batman on me" James said sipping his drink

"Yes, you think being a werewolf is somehow more important then getting some of hat ass" Candy replies.

Darion's head turns to Candy, as he agreed with James on this. "Easy for you to say when James is a magic man and you are a fairy Candy, neither of you have to stress of a certain night when your entire body changes wanted or not and then act like a ravenous monster." Darion said, trying to make them understand how he felt.

"See you say that but that's only a problem a couple times a month" James pointed out

"Yeah but it's kind of a trade off though" Candy replies with a grin.

Darion speaks more getting a little frustrated. "And because it happens a couple of times a month it is considered okay by you two and that I should just start hitting on girls instead of worrying!?" Darion said, frustration evident.

"I mean candy has been drooling over you sense it happened" James pointed out

Candy wipes his mouth with a napkin "Can't help it"

Darion just shakes his head, he can't believe these guys. "Ugh... I'll be more calm when I know how this thing works and what it feels like. Maybe then I will take advantage of it, I really just don't get you guys and Candy, are you not dating someone? You can stop drooling after me..." Darion said, he then took deep breaths to calm down.

"Let's head home" James suggested as this had gotten a bit too serious

Darion silently nodded in agreement, he will visit his own home first to get some supplies and tell his parents that he will be staying at a friends place for the night.

"See you soon" James said cheerfully

Darion gave James a small wave and spoke. "Yeah, you too." Then he walked back home, telling his parents of his stay at James's place and taking some supplies before going off.

James went home to make sure one of the cells was free (Ki, lu can we have a family meeting)
